I heard Jack Black, Nacho, and Darius A. Rose, Chancho, were the only two non-hispanics in the movie. Someone told me the little boy was white and middle eastern.
What do you think about this?

The movie was set somewhere deep in Mexico. It was refreshing to see things from the eyes of another culture.

It was one of those artsy, subtle humor types of movies. You are always thinking "Was I supposed to laugh?"

It was confusing because of how it tottered between a drama and a comedy. It had it's moments but sometimes it was just downright weird

I liked the movie; it was funny and it was visually beautiful. It was also stupid, but in a fun way. I was concerned that there was a romance between a monk and a nun, but it was so silly and innocent I found it inoffensive after all. I'm not saying it's a great movie; it's not. Brainless, colorful, and silly.

I don't know... I didn't see it. I personally don't find Jack Black funny at all.. in fact, I think he's rather annoying.

I mean no offense to anyone who likes him because my friend loves him, so it's just a matter of opinion.

To me it was not a good movie at all. If you want to see a good movie, watch Click, with Adam Sandler. Now that's a movie to watch. Race has nothing to do with acting, it's how how they perform in their acting.

It's just a movie, I don't believe that actual race matters much.
