You need to talk to your Mom about this. She needs to help your brother pull it together. You could also talk to the counselor at school...they probably already have an idea that something is going on and can help you....Stay strong and keep loving your brother, he will need you before it's over. Take care of yourself.

You need to find some real life examples of losers and show him. Drinking at such a young age just isn't worth it. You have most of your life to be stupid at least he could wait til he can get in less trouble for drinking. I am 25 and have had a little experience. My mom went to jail 2 time for drunk driving and my dad like 5 times. I don't see him anymore and I see my mom when ever she is sober enough to have me and my family. But My sister is like your brother she is 2 years older than me and she never Graduate High School. She sometimes/most of the time cant pay the bills but I worry about her everyday. She partys still all the time. There is a point in life when you just have to grow up and take a look at what is really important. I am not a drinker I hate the smell of beer. I am the complete opposite of my family. I wish I could tell you how to make your brother see that what he is doing is never gonna end if he doesn't do something now. But I hope I helped a little.

Talk to him if he has vision in the future and all he has done were not good to achieve his dreams of a good professional. His direction is between two. One, his attitudes will make him liability to the society and he has no good future and two, if he will not change for good, the jail is wating for him as soon as he become criminal.

It sounds like he may need professional help talk to the counselor at school if no one at the house can help him. Do an intervention he may not feel comfortable talking to you all, maybe if he talked to someone else it may help it never hurts to try.

try to let him know that you are there for him and that you will keep the open-door policy for him. let him know that you may not understand what he's going through, but your willing to listen and learn. then it's just wait... hopefully he'll come around and your brother and you will have a wonderful realtionship. just be honest and PATIENT.
