Everytime she sees a new food in front of her or one that she is sure that she wont like, she starts crying and won't eat. We usually just make her sit there in front of the plate until bedtime or make her copy poems or phrases as punishment until bedtime. This is getting really old. She is my step daughter so we only have her every other week. At her moms house she gets to eat basically what she knows she likes and what she wants. I can not get her mom to discipline her so that is out of the question. How do i either get this child to eat or how do i get her to stop crying?

My wife's sister has been divorced for almost a year and a half. It was understandably hard on her becasue her husband left her for another woman and no one really saw it coming. The thing is she is always over at my house... evenings, weekends, three-day holidays! She likes to drink and after a few she starts asking me all these questions about men and sex... sometimes I am afraid that she is making a pass at me. My wife and her are very close and I have asked her to try and get her sister to give us some space but it never lasts more than a week or so. Am I being a jerk?

Some girls from work are having a girls night out. I know that If I tell my husband he will get very jealous. I really want to go. I never get to go out. Everytime I want to go dancing with him, he says that he is tired. Should I go and let him get jealous? I don't do and have never done anything to make him feel this way.

My thirty year old son also me owes 25K over the years of borrowing to stay afloat. I am divorced on a fixed income, but am always willing to help my kids. My son is moving in my home shortly, in order to pay off his debt. My question is...is it fair to charge him rent or just the extra costs of utilities. He does make over double then my income. I know he doesn't want to have to move in with his mom but knows he needs to in order to get ahead.

My Sister in law. My husbands brothers wife. Was killed in a car accident last Friday. I feel heart sick for him. My problem is I barely knew her. They have only been married 2 1/2 years. And they have always lived in Florida. My brother in law is in the Navy, and that is where he is stationed. I only saw her about 5 times. At their wedding, 2 Thanks Givings and 2 Christmas's. He is bringing her back to California for her funeral, as this is where her family lives. My problem is. When I was on the phone with him last night he asked me if I would speak at her funeral. With out even thinking I said yes if that is what you would like. After we hung up I realized I really don't know what to say. Beings that the times I did see her were big family events, we never really had a chance to have any one on one conversations. Should I tell my brother in law that I have changed my mind. Or does any one have any suggestions.
Thanks ahead of time.

Is considerate, kind and helpful around the house. Who also is fantastic in bed.But doesn't make a lot of money. He can keep you afloat but there is nothing fancy about it. He is great with children and is supportive.

OR

A man who works all the time and makes boocoo amount of money. Expects you to be home to do every bit of the household chores and is intimate with you maybe once a month. He would be a man you would feel like is a partner in the house instead of a lover.

o k let me xplain in short, my sister in law has been married for 13 years and in 2001 she gave birth to a son. when the baby was born my husband and I looked at each other and privately said to one another that the baby does not appear to be her husbands. one year before his birth she confided in her brother(my husband) that she had had a brief affair with her supervisor at the jail where she worked. they have had problems on and off and her husband had a suspicion that the child was not his. he took his now 5 year old son for DNA and low and behold HE IS NOT THE FATHER. now heres the messed up part, he has since filed for divorce and she is trying to track down the father who has since retired. everyone in the family is mad at him because he filed for divorce and wants out of the marriage. my husband and i are still friends with him and everyone is mad because he is leaving. why? she messed up not him? its okay 4 us to still be his friends right?

He has no desire to want to do anything. He's not depressed, I think he's just lazy. I try to get him to do things that he might have fun at, boxing, kick boxing, fishing, hunting, all with him fighting the whole way saying how much he hates it, even before he has tried it! I even encouraged him to write stories because I "forced" him to write one while we were in the car on vacation and it was really good, but he hated doing it. I want him to have outside interests ...healthy productive interests. Please tell me what you think might get him interested in something. I used to love volleyball and when we practiced before and after school, my response was "yes! we GET to practice twice a day"...I want him to be like that about something. Sorry this is so long.

I already have a monday-friday job that has excellent benefits, but a low salary. I could use an extra $500 + a month after taxes in order to help pay down some debt. Problem is I would have to pay for extra daycare @ $7-8/hour (on average) and most evening jobs (such as hotels, hospitals, etc) only pay about that much or a little more (like 10-12/hr). Should I take it anyways?
