Hi there, Im russian and Im very confused about american sizes of clothing. My sister is 10, and Im looking for smth warm for her but cant figure out what is her size? Please, ppl, be so kind, help me with this, I really wanna make her happy. She wears XL, her height is 5,3 feet, weight is 99 pounds. Im looking for outerwear. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I think her size here would be Small.

My daughter is also 10, and about the same height and weighs 92 pounds and she wears a size small. Or a size 1 in juniors clothing.

You sister would wear Petite Sizes probably "Small to Medium" or
6-10.

she will wear size small and probably a size 0 to 1 in pants

You want a small sweater for her, size small on the tag. If you want it a little big on her so that it wears loss, get her a med. Most american clothes in shirts and sweaters are labeled ..... s (small), Med (medium) or L ( large) and so forth.

My wife is also the same size and hieght, I think that you will find that in american sizes you will have to buy small and petite sizes to fit her
