one of the people i live with goes out drinking a couple nights a week and it seems that the more times a week this person goes out the more drunk they seem to be. if you were in this predicament would you a) stay living at your current residence or b) go live somewhere else???

i know deep down my parents love me, but the thing is they dont like me. know what i mean? they mutter to themselves about me and they complain and they yell at me for the stupidest things and they always talk about how every other teenager is better or does this or that...its annoying and sad. i cant be perfect or change myself easily...but they hate me....

so my bfs rents r really strict...i think at least...theres one step to the stairs and it goes left to go up them and he was sittin on the first step instead of the platform and his dad yelled at him...he has to ask to use the phone, computer etc...if i go over there it can only be 2 hours at a time and only talk once a day for 30 min...he mom yelled at him saying what the hell cuz he picked up the phone to look at the caller id to see if i called...we cant go in the laundry room, or kitchen we have to stay in the dining room or the living room...i sat on his lap and his dad called me a barslut behind my back...he has to take it all so he can see me on weekends...what should he do about this?...im not going to say anythign because they already dont like me and i didnt do anything to them...its their oldest child and they just cant face the fact that their baby boy is growing up and isnt home all the time...the most hes out is 1 day a week and its only for a couple of hours max...help!!

As a younger woman I hung out with and was part of a motorcycle club. its not a part of my life im really proud of. I did a lot of things I should not have done. Against my wishes my sister told my 17 year old niece about that time of my life. Now my niece pesters me with questions....Id rather not answer its past and I want to forget it. I dont want to be rude to her but I also dont want her to think it was "fun" if I dont talk to her about it....any advice?

Well..i have been blessed by twins and have domestic help 2 maids.. one 24 hours and 1 just from 10 to 6 .
now the 24 hour maid will go for a month in dec mid. i arrnged a substitute and as im getting her now... my mil said that there are already too many servnts call her in a month. now what do i say to the agent..im soo upsert

When a parent has an argument with his/her kid(s) should they treat them fairly?This questions concerns teenagers more than it does younger kids.

I know a lot of parents will just say no for the hell of it cause they like feeling powerful. Should decisions be based on a rational basis? I believe if you make irrational/power-hungary decisions, you're kids will immitate the same behavior.

My dh and I have two children and are both happy but not convinced we don't want anymore. However, I can't imagine planning to have another one anytime soon. BUT, not ready to go the extra step (vasectemy or tubal) and say FOR SURE no more. How do couples make that decision?

My daughter is pregnant for the second time and I know that it was deliberate. I warned her before that her dad and I would not support a second child should she get pregnant again. We have supported them now for over four years. We adore our grand daughter and she wants for nothing that she needs. My daughter won't work. She lives in my house pays no rent, has us paying her electric and phone. Our son also lives there and pays next to nothing. He is mad because he thinks he should not have to pay the $220 a month he pays to live there. My family is being destroyed. My husband and I had to move out of our own house to get some peace in our lives. At the age of 58, I must travel 300 miles to work and back...doing several shifts and staying at a hotel because my daughter screams at me and everyone else. I have turned to alcohol to make things easier. What do I do???

She says she hates it there and the only reason she's going is to help them move, but she mentioned a guy there that might hook her up with a job in Seattle. She did say she's not sure how it's going to work out, but I don't think she's coming back. She said she didn't want to go to FL because it's so hot, but she's still going, and seems pretty excited. For instance, I am a college student, and at spring break, my friend offered to take me to the airport even though she had to wake up at 4:30 so that I could catch a 6:00 flight. I tried to give her gas money for waking up so early and driving me to the airport, but she wouldn't take the money. She just told me to have a good time and she would see me when I returned. I flew to see my mom and stayed with her for about a week, and I had a great time with my family. But when it was time for me to return home to go back to school, my sister who has money, a beautiful home and two cars, would not even take me to the airport. My mom does not have a car, so I had to ask around and beg different people in my mom's small town if they would give me a ride to the airport. I finally did get a ride, but when I asked my sister why she wouldn't give me a ride, she said that it was not convenient for her! She said she was not a taxi cab and I should have offered her some money, or rented a car.
