For example you have a mother who in the first place wanted to abort you then let someone else raise you and by the time you are grown up she is so bitter that is incapable of loving even helself and every time you try to seek her love and approval you unfortunately cannot get as much as you would expect to get from her.

my sis in law is 19 and my husband and mom in law are always bailing her out or rather.. making her irresponsible she lives w/her bf and they can never make ends meet, mom provides everything from pampers to babysitter , and pays for a baby sitter.. so my sis i n law is going to school and had to pay $100 a month.. hasnt payed it in 9 months and if she doesnt, she will get kicked out, and my stupid husband (herbro) is gonna take out a loan for her..i think he shouldnt cus she could've very well payed $50 every 2 weeks, cus she doesnt pay for sitter, cellphone or rent or nothing so i think she likes the free ride. Am i over reacting ? i dont think so, i think she needs to learn that life isnt free and has to make sacrifices, in this case an effort and to learn cus she is working and so is her lazy *** bf that only works like 4 hrs a day. so why should we bail her out every time she decides to be irresponsible, this is a constant thing, from feeding them both to diapers what should i do

I come from a catholic family which does believe gay people will go to hell. I am a closeted gay and I want to come out but I'm afraid of what wll happen. My parents and I have a very good relationship but a lot of it is based on me living up to their expectations. They'd probably diswon me once they learn I can't make them any grand children. Coming out to my parents would be hard enough but then there is also all the friends and relatives I've been lying to all this time how can I ever face them? Is coming out worth risking losing every relationship I have?

My family wants me to write out some type of document for my grandma saying what her last wishes are, so that when she dies it will be in writing. She doesn't really need a will for what she is asking But Im having a really hard time. I don't want to think about my grandma dying. Would it be wrong to tell them that I just can't do it- or would that be wrong?

i am 14 and i got into an argument with my mom this
morning which left me with a bloody nose..and a splitting head ache.
i went to school just after taking 3 advils. by lunch my head was hurting. so i went to the nurses office and asked her for some tylenol. she said w/o doctor notice i cant have any. she asked why and i said my head and nose hurt. she asked why and i suddenly frooze. i had no idea what to do. before i knew it i told her my mom hit me in the face. she was asking questions and filed a report. after talking to me for a bit. she realized it wasnt major. but still filled the report. i came home and my mom was givingme the silent treatment. saying she didnt want to talk to me because she thought i was a spoiled/greedy self centered. b itch.
inside as she was saying this like many times brfore i was crying. she calls me a drama queen and such. im so hurt.. what do i do? was it right for me to do that.. report her?

My 13 year old is waiting for test results to find the location of his testicals. Dr stated they are there somewhere for he IS going thru pubirty but two Dr.'s were unable to feel them anywhere. Now they are talking surgery and my son is going crazy for this is a big thing for a 13 year old. I have heard of this being found in babies but not teens. Anyone go thru this or know someone who has at a late age?

Well, my parents always leave home early and come home late.
They always leave me to watch my two little brothers and sisters. I take them to school feed them, help them with homework, and take their bathes. It seems like the only things my parents do is make the money. Should I confront them?

I totally don't think so. This should be a man's job. For one, any woman who wears body armor or a police officer's uniform is a cross-dresser. Two, women don't have the physical or emotional strength to be as effective as a man. Three, if women get pregnant, being a police job is harmful for the baby. Four, it makes women more butch. There are others, but I can leave it there for right now. Am I wrong here?

I need emediate help! I ranaway from home, i'm an orphan, and me and my brothers and sisters ran away from teh house we were in! anyway, we were able to find a place to stay for a while with a computer at it, anyway my little brother has asthma, and it's starting to act up, my brother is soo little, what should I do, I don't know where his inhaler is! and he can't last much longer, we can't go back to the other place cause we don't know the way back! my mom moved me to a catholic school that i've hated since 2n grade
she put me there because she thought that i was not focused on my studies and also i skipped my parents conferrence.So I started with a 2.16 GPA and went up to a 3.17 which i thought was a major improvement for me!another thing,i was planning to be in my old school's baseball team which i really worked hard to get to!so when i made it my coach started training me how to pitch.I really admire my coach because when he was training me his wife was in the hospital .My coach asked me to make a promise to stay in that school for the team then i said yes knowing i had a 3.10. but a couple of weeks later my mom ignored it and put me in another school! I was furious!

My 11 y/o son expends alot of effort in not doing work at school and seems to think that he can hide this from me. If he applied all of the energy he uses to do this to his actual work, he would not be failing.
