YES....LOL I used to get the wooden spoon ALL the time when I was a kid....it hurt like H E L L, but I always told my mom "that didn't hurt"....dummy I got it again, every freakin time!!!!!!!

I've been on both ends.
It does smart something fierce.
It's much better to be the spanker then the spankee.
Needless to say, after all the welts, it's finally been banned as a sex toy in our bedroom. We still use it to stir the spaghetti however.

i get the good old belt. but when my parent feel like going "asian" i get the bamboo stick. that worst than a spoon. it strong, flexible and leave a good whip lash mark... ouch
