Family - September 2006

I'm 13 and have a bad relationship w/ my parents. For 7 months I haven't hardly talked to them. They were too harsh on me cause I got a bit sidetracked and this destroyed our relationship completely. That time I was doing wrong stuff and really had to chnange, so today I avoid bad crowds and my parents even say they are proud of me, despite my strong resentment. It's kinda bad to live this way, I really miss my parents affection, I feel lone and lonely but it's a fact that can't be changed. Thery tried to fix our relationship but it was impossible. They have nothing to complain, cause I'm an excellent student, don't get in trouble (my experience with bad crowds was traumatic, those people disappointed and hurt me) and take part in several healty activities, even dewal with children at a church. So, my qustion is: since my relationship with my parents is destroyed for life,what's the best way to live w this, how can I get comfort and guidance when I need?

My husband's 19 year old nephew, "Ted" was in juvie for about 5 years. He was let out about one year ago. Since Ted needed stability and good role models, his public guardian asked if he could come live in our home. My husband and I both agreed. Last night Ted confessed to me that the reason he was in juvie was because he molested someone (he would not tell me who) because his father forced him to. His father also molested him. Ted then claimed that he is all better and knows that he would never do it again. He said that his counselor asked him if he felt sexual arroused by his cousin. I thought he meant an older cousin, then I was told he meant my daughter who is 6! He swears the answer was no, but I am really worried! This boy needs someone to constantly remind him that he needs to shower, clean up, sleep in his bed, smoke outside, put his things away, etc. I don't have a release to talk to his case workers or anything, but I am wondering what would you do in this case?

ive noticed that older sisters realy seem to to be good at torturing their younger brothers, so tell me what ways did you torture your sibling growing up and how do you get along now? I ask because my sister always tortured me and now that were adults we get along fine.

My parents died a a while ago, about 4 days ago! My family needs help to deal with this loss, we can't get over the fact that their gone! I have alot of brothers and sisters! And we can't handle this! My youngest brother stopped talking to us completely! He won't say a word! He's so quiet and secretive lately! He falls out of bed alot, everytime he falls asleep something would happen! the rest of us can't get any sleep at all! Now my youngest who falls out of bed alot is afraid to go back to sleep cause he doesn't wanna fall off again! Will anyone please help us through this! Please, we needs help big time! Just yesterday I posted a couple of questions and decided That I need some professional help

So this is what the doc said...

I have bipolar disorder and extreme Social Phobia & Anxiety disorder ,both of them thanks to my abusive parents and one of my teachers in high-school.

And She also said that I am little sexually abusive and not normal.

Now this I found out in the session ,it was due to exposure to some Bad movies when I was 7 or 9 by a 16 yr old distant cousin..it was not Hard-Core type stuff...but the damage It caused to me continues till this date.

Now I have opted to change and help myself out of all this mess,

In all of this,I have to thank god for one thing ..I never get sucidal thoughts and always find some hope and faith in me when things are really bad.

I truely now believe that I can control my Mind and be the person I really want to be.Just tell me some ways to get a good start in my new life and pray a little for me if you can.

Im the step mother to 2 beautiful kids, the only problem is their MOTHER.. ive tried so hard to get along with her.. i watch the kids anytime she needs someone to.. they go to school in our school district so they ride the bus to and from our house on our weekends.. or when ever she needs for us to watch the kids during the week.. but she's such a b*tch..she does all she can to make the kids hate me..and disrespect me..She left my husband..she didnt want him.. so why is she taking her b.s. out on me..?? I tried to be nice, i am always polite to her, never talk bad about her infront of her, although she does about me and my husband infront of the kids..and when i signed her daughters "homework" papers while they were staying with us, to prove that a adult checked them over she went balistic writing a note to the teacher that im not allowed to sign any school papers..i could understand if they were permission slips but they were homework papers..
