If you mean how long will it take for ou be issued a visa then it can be anything from 5 - 9 months. The process is long! Using a lawyer wont speed the process up, they just check that you have everything that you need to send in order for the application not be sent back or delayed. It depends alot on where you are living and what processing centre in the states you have to use. At the moment the Californian Centre has the longest average waiting time of the visa to be approved. Thats about 138 days right now - and even after that the application has to be sent to US embassy in the country that you live and then you have to send more documents and finally you get set a date for an interview. The time for this can vary depending which country you live in. For some it's a matter of weeks but most countries have a waiting time of about 70 - 150 days! If you need any info then check out www.visajourney.com. Good luck!
