Family - July 2006

I have okay SAT scores but a really high GPA. But for a criminal justice major, you don;t have to have awesome grades or scores () I can't tell them that I want to major in criminal justice, i know that they won't accept it. They want me to become a doctor or a pharmacist or something like that and they are afraid because there are dangers to the job as a police officer or an FBI agent.

So when they ask me what major i have in mind, I say i don't know. Then they list a whole bunch of great schools-ivy leagues...(it's not that I wouldn't go to them it's just that great schools just don't have a criminal justice major-unless you know of some-i would appreciate it. ) It's important to them, the reputation of the college I go to. (They always say: "Oh, you rememer him, his son went to harvard...B.C...Yale..)

How did you tells yours? I sometimes feel like it's not fair to them, my uncle and aunt knows, my guidance counsler, and my friends, but not them...

ME and my cousins went to Wal-Mart the other day with a close guy friend....the guy friend was chasing after me because i took off walking because i was mad at my cousins for a reason..so the guy friend tackled me down to the floor..and we all got kicked out for horseplayin...my cousins got into trouble because of that..it wasnt their fault...this is why I cant go nowhere with them anymore.

can anybody suggest a safe behaviour while traveling in a vehicle or on foot that can have a play experience to reinforce it.
e.g. wear a helmet when riding a bike - supply bike helmets with bike play as the experience.

My 8 yr old sis and my lil brothers are hellians they never sleep, and tear up everything they see i'm the oldest and take responsibility 4 everything they do. If they are not embarrassing me in some way then they are hurting eachother. I love em 2 death but they don't listen to anyone. Why can't we all just get along

Next week I am putting my 21 year old daughter on a bus to her brother's. I can no longer deal with her. Everything her father and i tried to teach her she turned her back on. She has a beautiful 11 month daughter. I have custody. The baby is not going. She won't take care of her now. Do you folks think this is right?

how can i get back at my older snobby sister that dips in my life and insaults me on every thing i do? She acks like she jelous or something. How can i get her off my back about stuff. I mean she has her own life in Gearmany with a husband , a child and one on the way and she has the nerve to call me up and start talking s-hit to me about who i am and how dumb i am. I play basketball, I'm a black belt in karate. My journalist uncle says my story is unbelievable, and the #1 jazz piano player in the state told me I was a great piano player. Sounds great, right? Wrong! My dad only lets me do this stuff because it's "beneficial". He won't let me get a game console. He won't let me copy and install my counsins Sims 2 game because he thinks computer will rot my brain. He doesn't believe in going to the mall to shop for clothes like everyone else. We shop at Kohls and alot of people at my school bug me about it. Do I have it better or worse?

like she'll start going on and on and acting like she's mad at ME and i'll be like "mom...i didn't do anything so don't drag me into this..." and she'll be like "i kno you didn't do anything, it's just i get so MAD." and then she'll start ranting and raving again. and then she'll start saying all the things i've done wrong that day or what i forgot to do. and she'll spend the rest of the day slamming things and sighing and stuff. and i just get so annoyed because why am i the scape goat?? i'm only 16!!! isn't that what her counselor is for? and her friends? not her daughter?
