Family - July 2006

I have 4 children, and 3 of them seem to think that the world owes them a living instead of them going out and bettering themselves by gaining an education and finding employment/better employment. I am so frustrated! My youngest two are the worst -- let the 'State' take care of our support, we don't have to work!!!

i argue a lot about what he did. but i also know that we are trying to move on from that. he made a lot of promises to get me back but i feel some time that those promises are not being keep. what should i do. we have kids to think about but i also want to be happy.

I took my daughter in and gave her a place to live I was tring to help her find a house running her and her friend who also wants a house everyday know because her friend wanted to go to a homeless hotel she lied to the worker to go there too,she is being a Bleep and threating to keep my grandchildren from me.She told the worker that we threw her out and we never did I already talked to the worker Does any know how to get grandparents rights

She lied to me and it really made me mad...her little lie and some other things almost screwed up a lot of things for me. So anyways, she checked her email and things on my laptop and forgot to sign out...so when I logged on everything was there and I changed her passwords...do you think I was in wrong and should I tell her?

BTW...the problems all started through her going on messenger and talking to someone she shouldn't be talking to anyways.

If it is wrong...what else could I do to get even with her...

I have a daughter who is about to turn 12.

We have a great relationship and I have always been very ‘present’ (by ‘present’ I mean, aware of her, loving her, respecting her, guiding her), but as she gets into what everyone says are difficult times for young women, is there any advice you could give me?

In particular, what are some of the things your dad did?

Or, maybe more importantly, what are some of the things that he *did not* do that deep down, you were kind of expecting/wanting him to do?

she can even ask a simple question without whinging and she has started with a stutter so you can imagine how frustration it is for us both,She will whinge when im playing with her, the minute she opens her eyes, everyone says how happy she looks but its in side the house or garden she starts, i am paranoid its me im the cause of her whinging, im a bad mum to my 3 yr old daughter and im at the end of my tether. will she grow out of the stuttering what should i do help me

my 13 yr old daughter never listens to me. it's hard to even get her attention these days. when she returns from school she usually engage in endless conversation phone conversations while using the computer she tells me mom can't u see i'm busy all the time!! whenever i want her to do stuff like help out with house chores or go to the mall with me she'll always push everything to my 7 year old son. lately, i suspect shes taken up smoking and her spending habits are Atrocious!! she took like almost a thousand from my husband claiming its for her hair and shopping for clothes to wear to school. i'd NEver give her that amount of money myself! shes also given me a nickname pie face and calls her brother a dirtbag or turd since he gets kinda dirty after playing soccer.. i hope my son won't turn out a disaster like her! when my husband is not around, i have literally no control over her. how should i get her to listen to me?!

My mom drove by early this morning and saw his car there. They are very conservative, religious people and are very upset and disappointed with me. She came to me when she decided to divorce. I took care of everything from her paperwork, to her expenses and let her stay with us. I took her to the community college to meet a counselor there so she could go back to school, and helped her with her budget. Then she decides to move in with a friend, and we did offer our home permanently for free. When she moved she told me that she was "helping her friend out with insurance money", and when I shopped with her she always spends ALOT, even more then me. A month after she moved out she calls MY HUSBAND and asks for a loan, not me. When she came to get the money I told her it was my money too and it was disrespectful not to ask me also. Also, because I know she is not responsible with her money, and I spent my time trying to help her. And she came to me before for help. Now we're not talking and I'm really pissed. Am I justified? Is this childish and I should get over it? What do I do from here? I hate apologizing!

My older sister always lies to harm me a sometimes for no apparent reason. it's confusing to me also. i haven't been talking to her for some days because she mafde up a lie about a guy in school not liking me she got caught lying and i was just angry because she tries to play i just can't it hurts so much that not even my family wants me to be happy. it led me to cut myself out of all the anger i had stored up inside...tell me what to do plz??

I live in Spain where we have the 5th best health system (Britain comes in 14th).
What holds you in Britain?
Its not the weather.
Its not the Health care.
Its not the standard of living.
Surely you realise you just work to exist!!!!
Does your life have such highs that life in 'GREAT' Britain is so grand.

I had a great job in Britain.
A power engineer with an energy supply company but gave it up as I wanted to bring up my new daughter in a promising life.
