She lied to me and it really made me mad...her little lie and some other things almost screwed up a lot of things for me. So anyways, she checked her email and things on my laptop and forgot to sign out...so when I logged on everything was there and I changed her passwords...do you think I was in wrong and should I tell her?

BTW...the problems all started through her going on messenger and talking to someone she shouldn't be talking to anyways.

If it is wrong...what else could I do to get even with her...

Yes...I have heard of privacy...but it was my boyfriend that she was talking to...I know that there is nothing going on there...but it was still weird...

The person that asked how old I am....I am 25 and she is 31....we fight and do this kinda crap to each other all the time...I think she would be use to it by now...

Yes it was wrong and silly as far as revenge is concerned, because, #1 what did it accomplish really, #2 how did it get you even, #3 revenge is best when they know it was your doing.

All that being said, why stoop to her level? It is always best to take the high road, believe me that drives people nuts because it makes them wonder why they would do a wrong to a good person? If you play her game, in some weird way it justifies her actions, but people feel guilty when they screw a person of high character...not so much when they screw a similar scumbag. The best revenge is living well. It sounds cliche, but petty "getting evens" are nothing compared to the attitude that you are above such silliness.

How about talking about her wrongs?? Instead of committing one yourself? People don't talk enough, if this is your sister with a relationship worth saving, talk to her.

That's funny, not nice, but a cool practical joke anyway. My sister and I had our differences growing up and we did some "hateful" things out of spite, but we were also best friends - that's what being sisters is all about. Tell her how much her actions hurt you and let her know that (out of sisterly love), if she ever pulls a stunt like that again, you'll put neon orange dye in her shampoo bottle!
PS. I think it's time you tell her what her new password is.
PPS. I wish I knew my sisters' password, that would be cool to do next April Fools!

Its her password and her account. Yes it was wrong. Always think about the situation if it had been done to you. Even if she was talking to someone else on messanger (she wasn't suppose to be talking to) there is another way you can talk to her or punish her if thats what you truly desire. Tell her you changed her password. She might have important information on her e-mail account.

A little sneaky perhaps...I would tell her, but not until you speak to her and work your problems out. Don't think about getting even, think about patching up your differences. Friends come and go. Sisters are forever.

Prove to her you're better than she is. It IS wrong and she knew you were gonna do it. Next time, prove her wrong. It's the best revenge. Her feelings will lift and she'll usually apologize. If she doesn't, ignore her almost entirely.

How old are you? Life is too short to be doing stupid things to your family. If she wasn't your sister would you still have done it? You probably give more respect to strangers than your own sister.

That's actually a pretty good idea for revenge in this day and age! Did it piss her off a bunch?

That was really wrong as revenge is not the answer to your problem.
