more then likely if they are crying its because they are tired, and fighting against it.. eventually he'll stop crying and fall asleep.. but if u baby him on it, he'll never get in the routine of taking a nap and he'll learn that as long as he cries mommy will let him get away with things..

yes you need to make him lay down for a nap. i have a 3 year old little girl and she takes a nap from 12:30-3:30everyday. If he is crying when you lay him down, try reading a book to him or put some soft music on and see if that will calm him down. my 3 year old takes about 30-45 to go to sleep, sometimes she will just lay there and not sleep, and that is fine to as long as my daughter lays down for the durations the nap time, she is okay. i used to lay down with my girls for nap time, but that kind of messed me up so i quit and now i have trouble getting either one to sleep but i either read a short story to them or or put some music on the TV or the radio, and they end up going to sleep. well i hope this helps.

It's normal for a child this age to be frustrated with having to nap, but he probably needs it. Be firm, he's not going to be hurt from having to take naps.

One reason he cries is because he's sleepy. Kids will do anything to get their way.Put him in the bed and walk away, it may seem cruel but if you keep doing it the same time same way each day, he should get used to it. Set a routine. You should have it down in less than two weeks. You can do it. Be patient and don't give into him, YOU are the parent.

Yes you should have him take the nap. He will see that crying will get him anything he wants.
Also, it is a nice break for you.

U should let him take his nap plus every baby or most babies cries whne they are tired or what to sleep. IS normal

my lil girl i make her go to her room for 30 mins if she gos to sleep that fine but she can play it quit time she knows ahe has to lay in bed i do yet her watch tv but she in the being would cry now she knows she 3 we been doing this sents she was 1 u have to have ur alone time doing the day are ur be nuts
