like she'll start going on and on and acting like she's mad at ME and i'll be like "mom...i didn't do anything so don't drag me into this..." and she'll be like "i kno you didn't do anything, it's just i get so MAD." and then she'll start ranting and raving again. and then she'll start saying all the things i've done wrong that day or what i forgot to do. and she'll spend the rest of the day slamming things and sighing and stuff. and i just get so annoyed because why am i the scape goat?? i'm only 16!!! isn't that what her counselor is for? and her friends? not her daughter?

You are right: you shouldn't be involved in the problems with your parents. Try to understand that when someone is mad, usually don't think.
but my advice is that you go out (not to drink or get high) just go out and don't stay there when you know the storm is coming, then when she's calmed you can say how you feel, wait until she's ready to hear the truth.

It's not OK 4 u to listen what your father might be doing to irritate her or that you pay for it. Good luck and have a nice life, hope this won't make you forget the good things your parents must have.

tell her it's her relationship with her husband, therefore it's her responsibility. If she has any maturity she would not bring her personal problems to her daughter. only a daughter can do that. if she wants to do so tell her to come back 10 years from now.....

lol, she just needs to vent, tell her you understand that she needs to vent but don't take it out on you whenever you can sit and talk to her, but all moms do it. just be there for her and try not to take it personal. :)
