You should all feel bad (the guyfriend most of all for acting so immature and low-class) and you should all try to act like ladies and gentlement, especially when you're out. While I realize Wal-Mart is not the most sophisticated establishment, it's still a public place and even the loosest interpretation of manners would include self-controlled behavior and refraining from rolling on the ground like a redneck football game.

Do the mature thing. Either go talk to your cousin's parents or write them a letter telling them just what you've said here. Also be sure to apologize to the cousin - not necessarily for getting mad but for handling the situation badly. Do the same thing for the manager of the store. It will shock and amaze them all that you are willing to be held accountable. Plus doing the right thing will help you to set things straight and quit feeling so guilty about it. We don't feel as guilty about the things that we did wrong that we were able to set right as the ones that are just left hanging.

It was the guy friend's fault, because he tackled you down...you just walked off to let go of that anger. You shouldn't feel that bad about what happened.

Yes you should feel bad. If someone ticks you off, confront them
and don't walk off.
