I'M A NEW MOTHER OF A 5 MONTH OLD. I'M NOT SURE IF HE SHOULD BE TEETHING BY NOW, BUT EVERY SAYS HE SHOULD BE GETTING TEETH AND I'M NOT SEEING ANY. SHOULD I BE WORRIED.

ok im 15 my brother is 17 and my sister is 11 and about 3 years ago my parents got divorced because my dad was cheating on her. well my mom got full custody and my dad lived about 30 minutes away in apartments and we visited him like every other week. we lived with only our mom for about a year. but then we moved to texas when our dad was in georgia. we all missed him alot. when we moved my mom married my stepdad. it all goes downhill from here. we all never got along with our stepdad and we had ABSOLUTELY nothing in common with him. my mom and brother would always yell and argue because it seemed like my mom was choosing our stepdad over us. so after 6 months my brother moved and lived with my dad. after that me and my stepdad and mom always got into alot of arguements some days it was good and others its REALLY bad. i kinda feel like i cant leave and live with my dad cause i feel i have to stay cause my mom does love me. i love my dad ALOT and this summer we got to stay with him.....

i was talking to my lil sis when we got into and aurgument and i ended up yelling at her she's never seen me yell before starts crying so i take her home . and im still pissed when i get to my house my gf is asking me alot of stuf i get even more angry and start yelling at her.
i go off to my friends house.
why am i so mad al of a sudden im never mad .

go. That is the good part. There is no bad part, except, that as a dad I realized she is growing up. She won't be that loose toothed little girl forever showing off her bumps and bruises(not from me, but from being a tree climbing tom boy) and being completely uninterested in boys. Those days are numbered. It is a double edged sword. It is great that she is more independent, but it is not so great that she needs me less. There is a question in here somewhere. As parents, how do you/did you react to this? You want to hold on, but you have to let go.

My husband and I have been together for a total of 5 years. We plan to start trying for a baby when I am 24 and he is 26.

We own a home that we will pay off next year, and we have good, stable jobs. So money is not an issue for us.

My mother says negative things like how I won't want to get up at night with a baby, and how I will be frustrated and yell at my husband because I will be stressed with a baby.

She says I should wait until I am 30 so maybe I will "have more patience for a child."

She pretty much discourages me from starting a family of my own. I feel a lot older than I am, I have been on my own since I was 18 (because my mom tried to control me), I put myself thru college, I am very mature for my age.

And I am 100% sure I am ready to be a mother.

I don't know what to do with my mother anymore. I have confronted her about her pissy attitude and it leads to fights and I am sick of her controlling personality.

Any advice?

Has lots of energy, likes to run around, does not like sitting still for long periods.
Any advice welcome, we are travel CA to FLA, 6 hours flight, 1 hour stop then 90min. Our child will be sitting with us, we did not buy an extra seat.

My uncle is in the middle of a divorce. I just found out his ex wife has made some comments about my grandfather publically.(we come from a small town) My grandfather recently passed away. I also found out of an incident in which she miss treated my grandfather. My grandfather was a kind man. He even gave them money for a down payment on their 1st house. Seriously, I have to go to this family reunion that we ave EVERY FREAKING year, seriously, shouldn't it be like, every 10 years? People tell me that I should be grateful for having such a large and extended family, I say it's bad because there are that many people that annoy me.
My mom is also coming this year and I can tell that my grandma roped her into this, so she isn't too happy either. She is going to be such unpleasent car company, seeing as she is driving me there, and like, AGH!
Do I fake the EBOLA virus so I won't have to go?
What about her BEGGING me to go to a Church in which I don't belive in?
Man, I really have got to get a social life to I have a legitamate excuse.
Sad isn't it? I have no clue why I typed this actually, maybe so some other poeple can have a place to complain about their family too.
