How old are you, what are you really running from and where to. I ran away for a few hours one time. My mom was very hurt and scared and I wish I'd never done that.
Talk to your family before you do anything drastic. I was lucky enough that no one hurt me while I ran away

Turn around and go home! Life can't be that bad and if it is, then you need to tell someone about the treatment you are getting there. Have you ever heard all the horror stories of what happens to runaways on the streets?

1. Find a job
2. Find a place to stay
Everbody, at some time, wants to run away from their family. I did when I was a kid and sometimes I still do now that I'm a Mom. In the end, I've always been glad that I stuck around. I would have missed some really great stuff.

Get some counselling, you definitely need it.

Do you know if you run away, you won't have food all the time, you won't have a comfortable bed to sleep in, and no one will take care of you when you get ill? Secondly, do you have any idea how many bad people are out there who will easily take advantage of you? Think hard. Don't be stupid and run away.

Remember that there is someone out there that has it worse than what you do and that there are even some people out there that don't even have a family or someone to care for them. If you are blessed with parents that love you and are trying to look out for your best interests your best bet is to grin and bare it. Someday when you get older, and especially after you have kids you will see where they were coming from in their point of view.

pack a backpack.
make sure you got enough money to support you while you look for a job.
do not use credit cards. do not use your real name. do not have any contact with any of your now friends.
truck stops can get you the furthest. and or raped.

or you can tell your parents that if they don't start treating you like a princess you are that your not going to be there for them when they're on their death beds...
