Family - July 2006

I find that I love kids but the younger like newborn to 2 I have little patience. I think as a Dad (Pround Dad I Might Add) am I being a bad father if I leave the majority (not all, I play with and change the diapers rarely, buy toys, and talk to him alot) to my wife. I helped when asked or if I see I am needed. I just don't spend as much time as I do with my older daughter. Understand it's better to me because she can understand (shes 3yrs old). Am I no good???

ok, so my mom is always sleepin & never wants to do anything at all. for example: today is my aunts b-day (moms sister) & we have a present for her but she doesn't even want to get off the couch to go to her house to visit/give her the gift. (my aunt lives 2 houses down from us.. def. walking distance) every time i mention anything she always answers with .. no i dont feel like it. also she is extremely ill all the time. she just starts hollerin and mess and i dont even know what i've done. she takes everything the wrong way. i will be joking around about something and she will take it all offensive and start yelling at me. my dad notices how she is too but he just ignores it and tells me not to worry bout it. please help me & give any suggestions.. could it be something medical or what?.. i just don't know but i really wish she would do things & i really wish she would quit being so ill all the dag on time!

i mean....i know its black and to them it means death and crazy stuff....but to me it's just another color....they get pissed if i paint them black....my mom told me she didnt let me just because....and i think thats not fair...she can't even give me a reason???? thats so stupid...but she told me once that i cant have anything with a skeleton or anything with death becasue i'm gonna want to kill myself. My mon won't leave me alone and treats me like a little kid. I think she's this way because I can't walk and have to use a wheel chair. How can I get her to stop smothering me all the time? I think I'm getting too big for her to help me in the bathroom. I ask her to leave me alone but she won't. How do I get her to stop?

my sister had affair with her bfs brother it was 4 years ago her bf hasnt spoken to his brother for 4 years but stayed with my sister in the end but now wants to be to speak to his brother do you think he will forgive him for staying with my sister and leaveing him to rot and how does he get back with his brother???

First off, my parents never wished me a Happy Birthday. Secondly, they 'surprise' me by saying that they want to go to a movie. Guess what it is? Lady in the Water. I saw the damn movie twice already. I just hate today...it seems like my parents don't give a **** about my feelings. Oh well. I only turn 14 once.

Can someone tell me how I can cope with this?

I am a little upset since last night because my brother called the police and said my mum and us sisters were not letting him go on his own free will. I am muslim and was born and bred in the uk. I am 21 years old and work full time and pay my way. My father has remarried and mum brought me and my 2 sisters and brother up on her own. My brother doesn`t give anything towards the house, even though he works. He sleeps during the day and goes out in the night. He is in debt off about 5 grand and owes mum 2 and half grand. Mum confronted him last night and said i want my money and u owe too debt companies aswell, but he lied and called police. Police didn`t listen too us they thought were liars. He hasn`t come home since last night he went with the police. My mother is a single parent and brother is 20 and im 21 the eldest. I think he does drugs. Shall i phone him or leave it for a few days. Mum cries alot because only son and is missing him, i said don`t call him teach him a lesson.

Does your partner help around the house? if so how much? Does it mean that if your partner does the cooking you should clean,iron and do everything else? or do you think you should share the load seeing as the kids are half his? Also does it make a difference if the man is home as much as you are? Or does this mean he still does less? Please women and men answer this one!

spanking your kids or smacking them in the mouth doesn't help anything it just makes them think of how stupid you were to spank them. and then it makes them hate the person who spanked them and they will continue to do what they got spanked for to vex you. so if you spank your kids STOP!

is it true that if your dad is not there for you & doesn't compliment you and doesn't tell you he loves you that you turn to guys, or if you are a guy and your mom doesn't do the above mentioned things that you turn to gurls? my mother says so, but i don't believe her? so is it true?
