Visit and call often, remember them on holidays (Mother's/Father's day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc). Tell them how much you love them.
My parents died--my mom 6 1/2 years ago, my dad about 3 years ago. I wish that I could talk to them, call them, etc. I still go to pick up the phone to call my mom to tell her about my day/life, but then remember that she is gone. Enjoy your parents while they are still alive. Don't let a day go by without remembering them. Do the same with the rest of your family and friends. They won't be there forever and you will miss them terribly and regret not remembering, talking to, or visiting them if you don't do it while they are alive.

There's a lot of ways, one is to always respect them. Give them a card or flowers on special occasions like b-day, mother and father's day, x-mas, thanksgiving, and valentines day. or you cook food for them sometimes. If you are away from them, send them e-mails or text and call them every now and then to see how they are doing.
I am 30 yrs. old and away from my parents, but even if I am miles away they know that I love them and still care for them because I never missed any occasions, either I will call tem or send them a card in advance.

Show interest in their projects and activities. Ask questions. Ask their opinions. Ask for their histories. Invite them to do fun things with you. Make them dinner. Mow their lawn or paint their room or just visit them. Loving means giving of your time and heart and efforts.
Be your best and develop your potential. Be kind to others. Be the best you can be and this should please your parents immensely.

Just tell them you love them alot! Try to spend as much time with them as possible. My mom died in 93 and after she died I could not remember the last time I told her that I loved her. I know that she knew, but it still bothers me.
