My sister treats me like I am not even alive. It hurts because even though I am a grown woman I miss her but she acts like she doesn't even have a sister. How have others handled it?

me and my sister have got a bad relationship..i tried getting closer to her, but i just end up getting hurt; ive lost the will power to do anything else

My younger sister and I used to be best friends. Now that we don't live together anymore and we are both married she doesn't call me or tell me when she's going through something. When we do see each other she acts like it was just yesterday when I seen her last and she doesn't seem to know that I've been around for the last couple of months. She's like "So what are you going to do this weekend? Mom really hates my belly button ring. My baby will be here in two months" And I'm like what? When did you go through all of that? So now I hate her and I try not to think about her. But I know what I should do is talk to her. but I won't because she doesn't call me.

i in my opinion don't be responsive to what to assert, as that has never surpassed off to me. i might (i be responsive to it heavily isn't common) sit down your mothers and fathers down, and characteristic an person communication. Ask them why they decide for every time to fly or tension some hours to confirm your sister's lacrosse game's, vs driving a million/2 an hour to pass see you play soccer. And guilt trip them via asserting the 1st game that they had seen you play. this is ridiculous guy! communicate out, and be heard.

I have three sisters that all act that way. They are too busy with their drugs and men to care about their sister and niece. If you are looking for new family, don't worry I am too! LOL

I dont have a sibling but there was a girl that i knew and she treated me like that and I finnaly went up to her and talked to her and it turned out she thought that I didn't like her and was treating her the same way! we are good friends now.

I have a birth defect so growing up she was jealous I got more attention. Now we are adults and she does not talk to me because she don't know what to say. I start small talk just to let her know I'll talk when she is ready to rekindle our relationship.

i called my sister and i told her we needed to hang soon...and we did and we actually had a really good time...and now she hangs out with me all the time
