My husband and I were both previously married. Out of our marriages came two amazing children (one boy and one girl). We have lived together since June of last year. Both children are 5 with birthdays within three weeks of each other. When the children are apart from each other, they are great. They listen, the whining stops, the hyperactivity ceases and they are great kids that are a pleasure to be around. However, together they are holy hell on wheels. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is Mine, Mine, Mine. We have gone as far as putting their initials on things that belog to them since many times we buy two of everything. Both my husband and I were only children so this tug of war and acting out is new for us. We give each child their own time with each of us. We make it a point to have family outings and dinner together. If we could have some pointers on how to tackle the "sharing" and constant competing to be "first" - we would appreciate it!

well I have been married for about 15 years
my family and relatives lives far away in the middle-east and Africa . I have 4 kids and very happy with my husband he is Catholic and I'm muslim
my family have came to visit us and they seem to have issues
with us being different religions wich we are perfectly happy together and that issue doesen't come up in our marriage
please advise ,
I love my husband and the truth I don't mind that we have different believes .

My husband and I have been married for over 8 years. Three years ago he started his own business and after the first couple months, he was so busy that i need to quit my job and help him with the work. However, my mother in law thinks that i'm using this as an excuse to quit working. The first 2 years, we worked over 10 hours a day and the business is going well and stable. This year we decided to slow down a bit and enjoy life more. Now besides work, i have some time that i can pick up my hobby again or stay home in the afternoon to relax. But in my mind i always has a fear about what my mother in law will think if she finds out that i have some spare time. Back then when i quit my job, she thought i'm taking advantage of my husband, and when we work all day all night for the business, she ignored my effort. Now, i really have some spare time for myself, but all her 'false thinking' has made me feel guilty for having some personal life. Am I wrong?

I have been unhappily married for 2 years and have met someone who has treated so well. We have had sex and I am actually becoming emotionally attached to this man. I am a christian - but obviously not a very good one. My husband is moving to his mother's tomorrow for a trial seperation. He doesnt know of the affair. I really dont know what to do. I believe in God and I know Im probably going to go to hell for this but I really need serious advice as to what I should do. I am a mess emotionally and terrified that God will never let me in because Im not sure if I even want to end the relationship with the other man. He treats me so very well and is completely understanding of my situation and is willing to wait for me to get my priorites straight. Please someone help me!

I'm not going to bore you with the details but real early this year a man ripped my heart to pieces by betrayin me. He didn't cheat btw but he lied. Its been 10 months, I'm over him but I'm still unable to move on. I made the mistake of not dealing with my emotions when my heart was initially broken and occasionally I go back there, I relive the emotions as if my heart were broken yesterday. I've tried dating other people, but have theses barriers that eventually push them away. I've tried throwing myself into my work but there are times when I'm just so unhappy. Advice please. How do I progress?

my mother has resently became a seven-day adventist
but she raised me in a non-dominational church well she is trying 2 convert me into her new believes and i refuse 2 do it she says if i dont do what she says she kick me out of the house i dont have a place 2 go i'm only 17 yrs old i haven't graduated from high school yet . ( i graduate in may)

Ok, so, I like to cuddle. Yes. I'm a cuddler.

Often times, I'll be with my boyfriend and I'll fall asleep laying with my head on his chest and my arm wrapped around him.

BUT as everyone knows, there needs to be an arm on the bottom and I can't seem to find anywhere to put it that doesn't either put it to sleep or kill my shoulder.

I need help. Any suggestions?

i was reading this article where it says that cheating WILL eventually happen in a relationship, therefore we have to get use to it. I showed my friends the article, they said it's ok just as long as they are honest about it. my thing is if the person really loves you and respects you, he/she wont do it! they told me that i dont understand the "game", my response was "are we still in kindergaten?"...am i unrealistic?? is it unrealistic for me to think that my bf/husband shouldnt cheat on me if they truly loved and respected me?? am i asking for too much here??? i jsut want your opinion on this.

He's not a shy guy, but only around me, he gets shy apparently... We haven't hung out yet, but his friends and my friends are planning on going for lunch one day.
I tried talking to him today, and he answered me, but then stopped the conversation... I know he likes me because he told his best friend (who is good friends with me) and he also told my best friends too....
How can I get him out of his shell!??! What should I do?
