He's not a shy guy, but only around me, he gets shy apparently... We haven't hung out yet, but his friends and my friends are planning on going for lunch one day.
I tried talking to him today, and he answered me, but then stopped the conversation... I know he likes me because he told his best friend (who is good friends with me) and he also told my best friends too....
How can I get him out of his shell!??! What should I do?

instead of trying to get others to come outta their shell, why don't you make the first move and ask him out? Isn't that better to make things quick?

Why did he stop your conversation today. If he is as shy around you as you seem to indicate, how come he was able to not only talk to you today but actually stop the conversation.My suggestion is to go on the group lunch and see what happens. In the interim, while you're waiting for the lunch date to be set, play it cool, restrain your desire to rush into his arms, and learn a little bit more about this guy and his feelings for you .If he truly likes you ( as much as you feel he does), he would find a way of letting you know in a more direct manner. How old are you guys??? He sounds young and if he's shy, then just let him be...don't try to rush him or anything else...girls are so balsy sometimes..it's really not necessary. relax and have fun.

maybe try started a conversation and switch the plan ask him out. it might go great it might not but it might be worth it

force him to be alone with you for a short while and make your feeling strongly know that should crack his shell.
