I had a great Job working as a job recruter. I found myself in the hospital with a near fatal situation. I lost my position at work. Therefore, I have some financial issues of course. Insurance is no good. I was already planning to leave, then this happened. He threatened that he would not help me financially any longer.....I will still leave even if I sleep in a cardboard box! I told him he was too controlling....he argued! He knew I was planning, and that is why he is threatening with financial destitude. Is there life and love out there after 40??? lol

okay...i have known this guy im seeing since middle school...so thats like, 10 years. we were never close friends or anything, we just knew each other. so we recently hooked up, and he is just so completely perfect...i cant believe the connection! its like, theres never been anyone that ive felt more comfortable with, and he feels the exact same way about me too. i dont know how or why, but i almost think its love at first sight, because every time were together, i have to stop myself from saying i love you...i dont want to freak him out, lol!
has anyone ever felt like this before? i just cant stop talking about him, cant stop thinking about him...*Sigh*

My husband and I have lived in our home for 7 years. We live on a quiet, dead end street where people always take very good care of their home and maintain their yards. Last summer, a family moved in across the street who DO NOT maintain anything. They leave garbage in their yard, they leave their garbage dumpsters tipped over at the curb ALL WEEK, there has been old, rotten carpeting sitting at the curb for 5 weeks because the garbage man wont pick it up, they don't mow their grass EVER.They are complete slobs and when I look out my front window, that's what i see everyday! I wrote them an annonymous letter and mailed it asking them NICELY to keep their yard picked up take some pride in our neighborhood.It didn't work.It's still disgusting over there! I'm pretty non confrontational, and I don't want to get into an argument with them, (Mostly because they're kinda scarey and I don't want them to burn my house down) but I want my neighborhood to be tidy and picked up! What would you do?

I feel like I'm living a double life with my divorced parents. They're polar opposites; my mom is a successful business woman, very independent, and addicted to painkillers [which i mentioned in a previous question]. My dad is a biker [harleys], lots of tattoos, and an iron worker who is a raging alcoholic.

My parents bash each other to me, my mom just gets off on telling me all the problems in their former marriage. My dad on the other hand will only make little comments every now and then. When I'm at my dad's I try so hard to not act like my mom I'm this "tell it like it is" tough girl that he really gets a kick out of which is partially me, but when I'm with my mom I'm just trying to impress her with anything I accomplish because I know she's trying to live vicariously through me but she also wants me to be successful as a person versus my dad who just wants me to be happy. Both sides are me but it seems like an act and it's starting to really break me down.
Any advice?

When I came to her house she took one look at me and she ran over to me and was hugging all over me and she kept touching me. All she kept on saying was that I was a big strong black man and she kept hanging on me. Her husband wasn't arround and my girlfriend was looking at her odd. When she finally let me go she took her hips and bumped me really hard. She kept looking at my finger nails and rubbing my back........obviously.........she was waaaay to close...

I talked to my girl about it and she is even more confused becuase her mom said she isn't attracted to black men............

What is wrong with her mother?

I am going through a REALLY bad divorce. My wife has taken advantage of my love for her and the children. I have signed every paper, and belived her words of "trust me". Then I found out she was having an affair, the true reason for the divorce. Since then she has kept my children from me and has used them as wepons. He Mother and Step-father have encouraged and supported her actions, and told me several times they will keep th kids away from me. I have always been the most loving father a father can be. I have treated my kids the way my father did not treat me. Now I have nothing and am alone. She filed a temp restraining order based on lies & now I have no contact with my kids untill the court date and maby not after that if the judge grants the order. Everyone is telling me to trust God and pray that he is breaking me and I need to wait and that God will fix or restore eveything.

my husband drinks 5 to 7 beers a night is that a lot?

My husband had a myspace account and all his friends were women of various sexual orientation and I questioned him on his choices (he's in his 40's, I'm 32 ).He said they were friends. I found out that he was sending them inapporiate messages for a man who is married with 3 kids . We have argued over myspace on various occasions. He cancled his account stating his wife was a ***** she didn't want him to have any friends. He even deleted family members which was why we got myspace in the first place. I recently found out that he has a new account with my space where he list himself as in a relationship and as not being married. He has also started collecting girls and has no family members on this site..........I don't know what to do since I found this out by snooping in his computer because I did not trust him. we have 3 kids and I think what he is doing is wrong. Am I being too uptight and should I be snooping???? I just want to do what is right for my family.
