Don't they realize they are setting themselves up to get used. Not all women are materialistic, well not me at least but most are and if guys want to find a true girl who likes them for who they truly are why don't they try to impress them with their own inner-selves?

My best friend recently intorduced me to her new boyfriend. He seemed nice enough but his age really did worry me. My friend is only 17 and the boy is 34... technically he is old enough to be her dad!

should i say something to her... or to him... or should i just accept it and say as little as possible

okay, my gf broke up with me because she said she needed more independence, but then she told me she met someone (not sure if she likes him though based on what she said). Well, after I collected all of my stuff that was at her house, she cried! She said she wants us to remain best friends but I can't do that. I love her too much to watch her date other dudes.

She came by once since we broke up over three weeks ago. She has also emailed a few times. I have not called her at all, or emailed her. We went out for almost ten years.

Tomorrow marks two full weeks since we actually spoke, not counting one time she emailed earlier this week. My question is, is she thinking about me? Does she think she made a mistake? Or is she waiting until I call her? She broke up with me, so I do not feel I should call, but I dont want her to give up on our love

I have a boyfriend I have been with for almost 4 years and we have a beautiful daughter together who is 7 months and he has a Myspace and talks to his ex on it saying he misses her and still loves her and they talk on the phone and send text messages and it seems he is trying to keep his phone a secret he flips out when I touch it or even look at it like he is hiding something.....but I don't know what to say to him it's hard because when we get in arguements he always tells me Quote "and this is why i dont even like you" What do I do??

I dated a man for a couple of months. We were really good together, but we were both just at totally different places in our lives, so we went our seperate ways. He called me a few months later and said he had found out he had Herpes and thought I should get tested to be safe. I don't have it. We've become really good friends over the past couple of months, and it kills me that he has this!! I would love to be with him. Shoot, I would MARRY this guy if it weren't for the Herpes... my boyfriend and i have been togther for a year and 2 months. he works at kroger and i was thinking about getting a job there too before school goes back in. i know when school goes back in that i wont see him as much as i do now and i was thinking if i got this job we would be able to see eachother a lot more. he even asked me to do it so its not like im invading his personal space. when and if i get this job i plan to work, its not like we are going to mess around or anything like that. i was just wondering if this was a bad idea. if so, how?

My mom has been in an abusive relationship for the past 7 yrs. She also has an alcohol problem and has even just not come home from the bar leavin me to care 4 my 2 young sisters. She is also in and out of jail a lot. I love my lil sisters to death and i want them to be safe. I worry that when school starts and I go back to my fathers house they will be in danger. I spend weeks at my fathers house and only visit my mother every other weekend; while my lil sisters spend every other week w/ my mother and the oppisit week w/ their father. I am thinkin of moving to my mothers to protect my lil sisters but i dont know if i should. I have a great life w. my father and would be giving up so much! Does anyone have any opinion on if i should do this or wat else i could do.

P.S. I have tried talking to my mom and it doesnt help and my sisters father will not take full cusditity.

Are we related by marriage? Me and my cousin's brother-in-law cousin?

Because if he is my cousin's brother-in-law then he should be my cousin too by marriage. Because he is my cousin's brother(by marriage) Or some relative who is realated to me by marriage. Why does this sh@# always happen to me? I woke up this morning an hour late for work because my alarm didn't go off. My power was out. My Pitt puppy left me a land mine wich woke me up as it oozed between my toes. I slipped and fell backwards, hitting my head on the nightstand wich knocked me out for about a minute. I woke up to him licking my face. So now I'm late for work, have a goose egg on my head and smell like dogggy slobber. I don't have time to shower, have my coffee or b-fast. I get dressed and rush out the door to find my tires have been slashed in the night. My windows are broke out , stereo gone and what looks to be chocalate syrup all over my seats. I call the cops and after filling out a report the officer runs my name to find I have a warrant. So now I'm in cuffs, probably fired, poop in my toes, slobber on my face, a big goose egg on my head and headed to jail. All I could think about was how good a cup of coffee would taste and WHY ME???
