No you are not. Your logic is flawed. Your cousin got married, not you. Therefore your cousin is related by marriage to the people whose family he married into. Technically his brother-in-law could be his wife's sister's husband (and therefore not even in that family you love so much b/c he married into it as well).

(And yes I'm that person who can explain the difference in 1st cousin's once removed and second cousins)

I was married to a widow, who was pretty as can be. This widow, had a grown-up daughter, who had hair of red. My father fell in love with her and soon they were wed. This made my dad my son-in-law, and really changed my life. Now my daughter was my mother cause she was my father's wife. And to complicate the matter, even though it brought me joy, I soon became the father of a bouncing baby boy. My little baby then became a brother-in-law to dad, and so became my uncle, though it made me very sad. If he was my uncle, then that also made him brother of the widow's grown up daughter, who was of course, my stepmother.

Father's wife then had a son who kept them on the run. He became my grandchild, for he was my daughter's son. My wife is now my mother's mother, and it makes me blue because although she is my wife, she's my grandmother too.

Now, if my wife is my grandmother, I am her grandchild.Every time I think of it it nearly drives me wild cause now I have become, the strangest case you ever saw as husband of my grandmother, I am my own grandpaw.

See, if you just write it all out your will figure it out. It's easy.

ok, you are all related by marriage. i've seen you post this question at least three times now. if you are truely trying to figure this out and are not getting the answer you want on here, why not got your local library and look it up or ask someone there. i don't understand why this is in the wedding postings, but oh well.. good luck figuring this out.
