My good friend just lied to me about the dumbest thing in the world about a week ago. She claimed to go to another friend's house when she went to her bf house. Why she lied about this is beyond me. I have given her 3 times to tell the truth and she didn't so I just now told her that she's a liar and until she can admit to it don't bother dialing my number. What would you have done in this situation?

i have been dating this girl since november, and we are like a match made in heaven! i just cant explain it, but we are, however we havent said "i love you" just yet and i was thinking in my head how i would love to marry this girl. however a few things, she is in college for another 2 years and i have my career at its peak....we are 8 yrs apart, and i dont know if she wants a marriage question yet. so with those minor details, what should i do. i can see me with her forever, and she has dropped hints about this and that...what should i do??

This a kinda a follow up question to my last one about me being 18 and shy and if any girl would go for me. Anyway i just wondered why people, not all but some, find it stupid for a guy to want to wait till marrage and be with a girl who doesnt drink, smoke, or do any type of drug and be with a girl who is caring, sweet, and understanding. Also that guy (mainly talking about myself) doesnt go for looks. Whats wrong with all of these things? She and I have talked to him all the way through the process of me moving in. We have kept him informed of everything to make sure that he is comfortable with such a big change. Tonight in an argument with his mom he stated that even though he said he was happy he really isn't with the situation. We have already bought the rings, and we have the date set. I am in a position were I am starting to have second thoughts because her son literally blows up when they argue and is destructive. I don't know if I can learn to father a kid that is not mine and will show no respect. What do I do any suggestions?

Most of the times my mom is tolerable and I dont argue with her
But sometimes (probably like a week or less in a month) she gets all moody and emotional

I am getting married in June. I used to take my engagement ring off when I washed my hands and took showers and all that. This makes my fiance nervous because he is afraid I will lose it somewhere. Will it hurt my ring to keep it on in the shower and when I wash my hands? When should I take it off (like when would I actually harm it). My ring is White Gold with diamonds in it if that makes a difference. Thanks!

I have always been deathly allergic to cats. My chest tightens and I cannot breathe. My boyfriend has 3 cats and loves one in particular. This cat is like his best friend. He sleeps with it, eats with it, and studies with it on his lap. When we have conversations, he interrupts me to "acknowledge" its presence in the room. He refuses to keep the cat out of the bedroom even though I have to take breathing meds every night and sneeze and cough uncontrollably. Not only do I feel second fiddle to this cat, but I also feel like he just does not care enough about me to compromise. I understand that he sees cats as people, but he is supposed to love me. Moreover, he does not like to come over to my place as much because he loves his house. What do I do?

First of all,English is not my native language,so I can make some mistakes...=)
My parents are so strict and overprotective!They won't let me wear miniskirts,curl my hair,wear makeups,buy purses(they thinkpurses are useless),have a boyfriend, paint my nails,hang out with my friends at weekends,listen to music,and go shopping without them..And also,they are so religious!I think it's ok to be religious,but the problem is they say bad things about other religions.We live in the U.S and I think they should respect others' religion like many Americans do.They say bad things about Muslims, Buddhists, Catholics...And that makes me feel bad because I have many friends who's Muslim,Catholic,and Buddhist.When I tell them how I feel about their strict rules,they just criticize me,saying that children should do whatever their parents tell them becau-se the bible said so.Now I don't say anything about how I feel to avoid myself getting in trouble.Can you help me?=)

My ex fiance still talks to me from time to time, but when he's around his new gf that he's been dating a whole 2 1/2 months he starts acting like an *** to me. Then when he's not around her he's not an ***. She doesn't want him talking to me, so when she's with him I get these nasty message from his IM. It sucks cause from time to time he NEEDS to talk to me cause I may be pregnant with his kid, so he needs to keep up with whats going on. She's 2 months pregnant with his kid (they got stupid and discussed marriage & getting pregnant at 2 weeks of dating/knowing each other.) Just a week ago he ran back telling me he made a mistake with her, and leaving me, & he said he feels trapped, but once he talks to her he's an ***. He's never acted like this to ANYONE the 3 years I've known him. So we're all confused. I don't even have to say anything to his IM name & I'll get something nasty. My friends think it's her logging on cause he has it so its automatic log on. Idk. I'm just sick of it.
