We have a friend that constantly lies and we want to sit her down and confront her about it. She's a good friend to all of us and we want her to know that she doesn't have to put on a fake front. We will accept her no matter what, but we want her to stop lying to us about things.

Should we confront her or should one of us just talk to her? We don't want it to seem like we're going to attack her. We just want her to know that it's okay to not be so perfect because no one in this world is perfect.

Ok so i live in Orange County and go to high school there. I have freinds at school and i have a family here but im really sick off this place. My whole family lives here but no one gets along and i have freinds but they all seem fake and self-centered. Im wondering if moving away when i graduate would help things or not. My boyfriend is a BITER! Everytime we hug or kiss he will bite my shoulder or neck and I do not know why. He also bites my lips and has even bit my cheek!! Sometimes it really hurts and he just smiles. What should I do to get him to stop and why does he do this?!

i find this question fascinating. while with my exboyfriend, i felt as if our connection and bond was so close that it would be impossible to replicate or better it. we were so in love and knew each other on such an intimate and un-self-conscious manner that i started thinking we were soulmates, even though id never really thought about the term before him. he made me believe in the idea of serendipity. but when i asked my exboyfriend about his feelings on the topic, he was hesitant to agree with me, and i don't think it was because he didn't think i was his soulmate, but that he didn't think that they exist at all. given the social stigma placed on sentimental males in our society, i think his hestitance was normal. but sometimes, especially now that im not with him and i feel the absence of that connection so painfully, i wish that boys (or, my boy) believed in the idea of the one perfect someone for you and knew its resilience. what do you think? is this ridiculous? or is there more

I am staying in US for past 9 years. Like every indian beliveing in my culture got into arrange marriage. In-laws lied to me a lot. My wife had serious depression which they never told she does not even know english. Now it is four year we have kid. she has depression still and with treatment. My life has become miserable. she very sensitive and mis understand everything. Add to this my in laws from india keep poisoning her. I do not know what to do . if I go back to india my in laws will still make things worse. Manage here alone, I am slowly loosing all my patience and tolerance. Infact I feel I am going to become depressed. I only request all NRI guys never go for arrianged marriage in india.

My ex have been telling my fren that i am a heartless women, i am a liar and i like to hide this and that etc.. By the way, he is a POSSESSIVE man who always like to ctrl my life(girl out there, im sure u know how's the feeling) and so i break off with him by all my means. My english teacher and me didnt get along so well in the beginning. But he helped me pass english for the first time in my entire life. My friends and I really enjoy debating, on a variety of topics from politics to philosophy to social issues. One thing that comes up from time to time is abortion.

These debates seem to get a lot more heated than any of our other ones, and there are clear lines... about 85% of the group is completely against abortion (pro-life), and the remaining 15% advocates people being able to make their own decision (pro-choice).

The thing that really bothers me is that the self-titled pro-lifers always talk about what the Catholic Church says. I respect that they have specific religious views, but some pro-lifers and most pro-choicers aren't Catholic, and anyway "because the RCC said so" is a logical fallacy.

What I am asking is what are some good points to bring up in a debate so that I can defend my stance (pro-choice) better? It has always ended up with my friends calling me a murderer, and we're not achieving anything but bruised feelings and intellectual stagnance.

So: points???

My mother is moving to Canada, with her friend. I have options, but I'm having a hard to deciding.
