Anyone who would use the phrase "what's your deal" would likely be too immature/young for me, and/or not my type. (I'm over the age of 30, if that tells you anything! *grin*)

Also, it's pretty tacky to come right out and ask someone if they have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Not to mention overly blunt! If you spend any time at all getting to know them, even just by hanging out, you'll figure out soon enough whether they are "available" or not.

Anyhoo, good luck. :)

Rate it as in 1-10 or like..A, B, C??

On a 1-10 scale I'd give it a...7. Its not the best. It actually reads as being a bit akward, but hey, that just might work. It is definately a good conversation starter - as long as the guy doesn't mind hearing that the girl has a b/f or hearing about her lastest ex.

Thats horrible.

Whats your deal, you got a boyfriend? Not only do you sound stupid, but not very charming at all.

And I like you a little?? I would laugh in the guys face. If you like me a little, what do you care if I got a boyfriend or not.

The proper pick up line to get what your trying to say across is.

"I really like you, and would love to get to know you better. Is that ok, or are you already taken?"

Or

"I really would like to get to know you better, you must be taken though, or did I get lucky?"

Corny.

Drop the last sentence. It's important to act like whether or not she has a boyfriend is irrelevant. After all, she could be with YOU!

If she says, "I already have a boyfriend", say, 'What the hell has that got to do with anything?'

Bad.
You want a date, right?
Try this:
"Hi. I'd like to take you to (fill in name of favorite band, movie, whatever) on Saturday."

You'll find out right away if she has a boyfriend or not!

1 1/2 stars out of 5.

you don't know her if you have to ask if she's got a bf. since you don't know her, such a direct approach could be considered rude, i think
