My mother is moving to Canada, with her friend. I have options, but I'm having a hard to deciding.

My grandmother offered to help me move to Saint Louis, Missouri which is my dream. Yet, I have a full-time job here, and I just found my father's family after 14 years. Everyone I love is here, but I've longed for Missouri since I first visited. I don't know what to do. Any advice?

It might be a good thing to stay where you are for a bit longer and get to know your fathers family. Set yourself a date maybe 6 months or so down the road as a moving date to St. Louis. At least if it doesn't work out there you have people who can help you move back home. Following a dream is a good thing if you have the resources and ability to do so, but family is a precious thing and I think you should give yourself some time getting to know them.

That is a tough decision. Do you think when you go to St. Louis is going to be the same when you visited because visiting is diffrent than living there. You have to think about getting a job, making friends, stuff like that.but then again your grandmother is there.

Why don't you go ahead and try St. Louis? After all, if things don't work out, you don't have to stay forever.
