My boyfriend just recently proposed to me. We have been together for over four years, but we are still very young. He is twenty and I am eighteen. We are both going to college, and do not plan to actually get married until after I have graduated. I love him very much, we are incredibly compatable, and I could not imagine life without him.

My parents, however, are putting a lot of stress on our relationship. They tell me that although they like him and think he is an excellent guy, we are still too young to get married. I understand their concern, and I realize getting married young will pose a challenge, but my fiance and I are both willing to work every day to make a happy and secure life for ourselves.

So I guess I actually have two questions.

First, does age really matter when it comes to happy and healthy marriages?

Second, as a couple who plans to marry young, what surprises are we in for?

She was trying to be nice to my parents and make sure they are cool before she asks in her cute way. I feel like I will be able to rope my parents into letting me go, and I don't want to have to go home at the 12 AM state regulated curfew that my parents are trying to inforce. So really my problems are 1) getting to go to prom 2) stayin out afterwards.

My best friend stopped talking to me!!!! She hangs out with the only other girls in my grade. I don't like them at all!!!!!! They are so bratty. Now i have NO ONE!!!!! I don't want friends in other grades! i am wondering if i should change schools. I am in 7th and if i went to this other school for 8th and high that would be okay. When i asked my bff about why she stopped talking to me, she sent me an email saying how i betrayed her for another friend. Okay, i did! But she did many things that were mean and cruel also!

My ex and i (of 2 yrs) broke up 5 months ago. He always tried to talk to me, but I ignored him. I finally gave in and we talk here and there. He is still with the girl he left me for, but isn't happy. wwell, i texted to a friend of mine about two times today, but she did not respond to any of these texts. she and i IM ed each other earlier today and she told me "to call her" if i wanted to hang out with her or something. and i can't really talk to her because i am at work now, and that's why i texted her. is she just ignoring me, or does she want me to call her?

oh by the way, we were talking about prom which is coming in 4 weeks. she asked me if i was going to prom and told me that she was looking for a date, and i told her that "i wish i can go with ya if i have any chance!" but she didn't really say anything about it.

so... should i just talk her in person? not IM, right?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months and he is looking to buy a house. I have a child from a previous relationship and have always rented. Recently, I moved back to my home town which is where he also lives and rented a townhouse. Ever since I moved 5 weeks ago he has spent every night. He always tells me he doesn't see the two of us breaking up and we have had the marriage discussion, but no official marraige proposal. He keeps asking me what I think about houses he is looking at and is close to offering one I hate. He is asking me and my child to move in with him when he buys the house, do I have say in the house he buys? What about if he buys something I hate and we get married...

Me and my bf were going out for about a year and 3 months. We broke up about 2 weeks ago cause we decided that we should be friends, but that was mostly his decision. Now right now i am finding it a little hard to be friends with him becuase i still have feelings for him although i don't want to get back together with. My first love and I met when we were teenagers. We're now 30ish. I contacted him last year. I found out he was going thru a divorce and in the process of buying a new house. He lives in CA while I live in NV. A few months after I found him, we met face-to-face. I felt this amazing connection the second we saw each other. I think about him a lot and wonder if we'll end up together. Do I tell him I still care about him or assume that he knows? He said that he wants to visit again but he hasn't made any plans. The last time we saw each other was 6 months ago. Do I assume that he's not interested? What do I do? I'm afraid that if I tell him how I feel, it will push him away. women again? I truly love my bf, but have been offered a weekend away with this woman I had a fling with during the time my bf and I were apart. We planned this trip some time ago and when we go away I know we will not be able to keep our hands off each other.

Previously my bf was only to happy for this to take place and join in on the action, but he soon became very possessive because we went with my ex gf.

I was foolish and he caught my ex gf and I sleeping together behind his back.
I will not go behind his back, but I want to ask his permission but I am afraid about how he will feel:

-pressurised that he has to agree when he is not happy
-insecure thinking that I want to be with this other woman
-jealous thinking that I want her more than him.

It would be even better if he would join in, but I'm not sure if he will.

I have liked this guy for a while and we have become such close friends. I wanted to become more than that so i asked him out. All my friends were happy for me because they thought he liked me too. I thought i was going to have my first bf.

Anyways, he said that he liked me but "only as a friend." I guess i should be happy that we are still close friends but i still feel that we should be more than that. He is so sweet cuz, even though he rejected me he doesn't treat me any different. We still walk and talk together in the hallway. For example, today was really cold and he said that if he had a jacket he would give it to me(cuz i was freezing).I still feel a spark,... or i think so.

I want to ask him if he has ever had a gf cuz, maybe he wants his first to be special, like i do. Should i ask him?

Or maybe i sould tell him that i still like him,... but i dont want to freak him out!

Please give me some guidence. I don't what to do and am totally confused about the situation.

Some one I love very much. Dosen't have a clue that I have feelings for them. They treat me like dirt. Always try to talk about me. I would curse this person back out. This person is always on my mind. I try to forget about them , it just gets harder.
