wwell, i texted to a friend of mine about two times today, but she did not respond to any of these texts. she and i IM ed each other earlier today and she told me "to call her" if i wanted to hang out with her or something. and i can't really talk to her because i am at work now, and that's why i texted her. is she just ignoring me, or does she want me to call her?
oh by the way, we were talking about prom which is coming in 4 weeks. she asked me if i was going to prom and told me that she was looking for a date, and i told her that "i wish i can go with ya if i have any chance!" but she didn't really say anything about it.
so... should i just talk her in person? not IM, right?

girls like me like being called and not being texted that much.. you should call her.. i mean if you want.. if i tell my guy friend to call me he calls me.. but i don't know if there is something going between us.. but you should totally call her.. and about your prom.. ask her out before she even finds one.. and yes you do HAVE a chance of asking her out.. i guess since you said tha tshe was still still free and still looking for one..

Yeah, definetly talk to her in person. And I wouldn't worry about not receiving texts back. I forget to text people back all the time. But when I realize it, I text them later. It just might be 9 hours later. If you've made plans, assume they're still on. Especially since you can'treally contact her from work.

Ummm, she might have forgotten that you were at work, or had a blonde moment or something... Take a deep breath, then just focus on nothing. You're taking nothing as something. There's nothing to worry about, just let be, and live life how you wish, but try and be more confident about yourself.
PS: from this angle, you seem kinda clingy to this friend, loosen your grasp, it's not healthy to be that bound.

Your lack of confidence is pathetic. Why couldn't you say I want you to be my prom date, what do you think of that? Girls love confidence, and want to be asked out by a guy, not some pathetic "i wish I could go with you" crap!
Grow a pair, wait for your break, and ASK her to the prom. Tell her your offer expires tomorrow. Girls love drama and ultimatums.

you said what to her... that answer sounded like you didnt want to go with her... if you had a chance? of course she just ask you to the prom.. not maybe she did or almost did.. she did ask you to the prom. now maybe she is mad you kinda let her down.. wow and she said call her later if you wana go out.. to end the convo now.. what you need to do is text her.. something like.. "have you picked out your dress for prom, cause if we're going together i need to know what color flower to get you?" something like that ok.. go save yourself.. goodluck man

only pu55ys ask a girl out with a text. u can text her during work, just tell her u cant call her at work. if ur not at work, just call her. dont ask her out on the phone or text. ask her to the dance. if you get rejected, just move on. u can still be friends. just dont ask her all seriosly. its a dance, not a wedding.
