I have liked this guy for a while and we have become such close friends. I wanted to become more than that so i asked him out. All my friends were happy for me because they thought he liked me too. I thought i was going to have my first bf.
Anyways, he said that he liked me but "only as a friend." I guess i should be happy that we are still close friends but i still feel that we should be more than that. He is so sweet cuz, even though he rejected me he doesn't treat me any different. We still walk and talk together in the hallway. For example, today was really cold and he said that if he had a jacket he would give it to me(cuz i was freezing).I still feel a spark,... or i think so.
I want to ask him if he has ever had a gf cuz, maybe he wants his first to be special, like i do. Should i ask him?
Or maybe i sould tell him that i still like him,... but i dont want to freak him out!
Please give me some guidence. I don't what to do and am totally confused about the situation.

wow sounds like a problem. I knohow you feel same thing has happen to me. If you dont want to ruin your friendship then just be friends with him but if you think you should try just one more time go for it and make sure he understands how you really feel about him. Dont just tell himyou like him tell him everything you feel about him.

ok i just went through this situation about 10 months ago except i was the one who just wanted to be friends .... now my friend and I were still close friends and at first i didn't treat him any different but the more we began to hang out and do stuff just as friends i started to think about becoming more than friends and after some time pasted i asked him out and we have been dating now for almost 7 months .... so try and be patient with him b/c it took me almost 3months to turn around and see my feelings ...... just try and find time for yall to hang out so he can see you more often and that can help getting his mind wondering and thinking of yall getting together..... good luck .... hope this helps

Just ask him if he thinks you guys could ever be more than just friends. tell him you have strong feelings for him and think there is a future between you's two. tell him how you feel, if he doesn't want to be with you then don't force it, just appreciate the friendship you have.

Well you should tell him to be honest and that it won't hurt you friendship, but you want to know if he has a gf.And you should also tell him that you have feelings for him badly.

Just ask him CASUALLY why he turned you down. I mean, like, WHY? What doesn`t he see in you?
