She was trying to be nice to my parents and make sure they are cool before she asks in her cute way. I feel like I will be able to rope my parents into letting me go, and I don't want to have to go home at the 12 AM state regulated curfew that my parents are trying to inforce. So really my problems are 1) getting to go to prom 2) stayin out afterwards.

She was trying to be nice to my parents and make sure they are cool before she asks in her cute way. But since I'm a junior, its not like she is 4 years older than me or anything crazy. I feel like I will be able to rope my parents into letting me go, and I don't want to have to go home at the 12 AM state regulated curfew that my parents are trying to inforce. So really my problems are 1) getting to go to prom 2) stayin out afterwards. I mean I've done it before, but they wont let me do it prom night.

Well, I'd say your parents are 1) afraid you'll break the law and stay out anyway if in fact they do let you go. 2) Doing what they feel is in your best interest. My advice is to work your a** off to prove you are responsible and work hard for the money to rent your tux just in case. You should also do all you have to to convince and show them that you are responsible and you will abide by the law and return home when you have to. The local police may extend the curfew for the occasion, call to ask. Good Luck! And remember they do all they can for you to protect you and your future. You don't need an arrest following you around just because you stayed out too late 1 night. Best of luck! =)

i say sweet talk your parents, and if that don't work go out because you only have one senior prom!! they'll come around.
oh and sweet talk, ask your mom or dad what it was like when they went to their prom and hopefuly they will fall in a daze and let you go--- 2 for stayin out afterwards pull the old- ( you don't think i'm responsable,) or cry and fall into your mom's lap and remind her of the love moives --lol hope this helps

Well, it depends. If you are in 8th grade I would say no-way too. But if you are in HS with her, what makes the difference. Tell your 'rents that you are mature enough to drive a car, that you think you can handle going to a dance. Tell them not to worry that she is responsible and so are you. I hope I helped. Good luck, I hope you get to the Prom w/ her!

Can't your senior girlfriend drive you to the senior prom? Or can senior or not you drive you and your senior girlfriend to the senior prom?? And, why do you want to be out past 12 on the night of the senior prom that you are hopefuly going to with your senior girlfriend?? If you are going to be out past 12 on the night of the senior prom that you are hopefuly going to with your senior girlfriend, you have to have a responsible adult monitoring you on the night of senior prom.
I like da repitition =D
