Tradition says that you wear your wedding band closest to your heart, but it's personal choice. My mom always wore hers w/the engagement ring on the inside and the wedding band on the outside, and that's likely what I'll do because I got my engagement ring first and it's far more expensive! :) But, it's your choice. Try them on together both ways--with the engagement ring on the inside and on the outside. Go with whichever you like better?

It is tradition that your wedding band is closest to your heart. So many bride-to-be's wear their engagement ring on their right hand during the wedding ceremony. Once the ceremony is over and the rings are exchanged, they will then take of their engagement ring from their right hand and place it on their left hand after their wedding band. But I have also seen brides who choose to wear their engagement ring first, followed by their wedding band. So you can really do it anyway you want.

Whichever way you want is fine. I used to sell jewelry and was told close to your heart for the wedding band. A new trend is to get a second band to wear on the other side of the engagement ring at your one year or five year anniversary. So it all balances out eventually.

When you get married during the ceremony you put your engagement ring on your right hand. Then put it back on your left. So your wedding band is on the bottom and engagement on the top.
