I have a personals ad that I put on 3 weeks ago. In the past weeks over 300 guys have viewed my profile but only a few have left messages, and many of them just sent those free icebreaker messages. I have met one guy and am meeting another this week. Not too excited about the one I am about to meet as we don't seem to have much in common although he seems like a nice guy and I am only meeting him because I promised I would. He is country and I am city. He didn't even have childhood immunizations! I know because he mentioned having mumps or something a few years back.
I read over the profiles of the guys that have viewed me to see why they didnt' respond. Alot of them want a woman with a college degree or someone who is much much younger than them. Most of them are average looking so I don't think it is my looks. Should I start leaving the ones I'm interested in a message or would that be too pushy since they didn't respond to me first??

There is this guy who used to work for my husband and he is forever borrowing tools etc, his wife doesn't know he smokes so he comes round ours to have a sly ciggie. I think he's got a cheek, he's arrogant and is only nice when he wants to scrounge something. Last summer he turned up out of the blue with his kids asking if it was OK for them to use our pool - do you think he has got a cheek - we made excuses because we were going out, but we really don't want anything to do with him, he's married so he's not alone. He's the type to take offence if you say anything, so we just keep fobbing him off, he doesn't get the hint. Any ideas?

well i am a hindu guy, 20, and still studying and i think i am in love with a 25 muslim, divorced girl. The thing is that i'm 6ft tall and she is like 4ft 5 or something. In the asian culture parents do not want muslim- hindu marriages, nor do they want their sons going out with older girls, even more if they have been divorced. But everytime i see her at work my heart beats so fast and i feel hurt when i dont see her. i think she may like me as well, since we have made alot of eye contact to each other over the last few weeks. i really dont want to feel this way but i just cant help it. i've been feeling like this for abt 4 months, i really dont know what to do ?

My husband, whos 24, left me and his new born for a 17 yrd olf girl from his work. my question is is how long do you think that relationship will last? what are most 17 yr old girls after? what could they have in common..it's not like she can go to a bar or club! Hell she is still in high school!
By all means I AM NOT TAKING HIM BACK, i just want to know how soon he will be showing back up on my doorstep so i can slam the door in his face.

I am trying to cut corners with the wedding to make it as inexpensive as possible. I am doing alot myself to try and save money. My parents agreed to pay for it but they are not real well off money wise and he wants to go to Davids Bridal to buy the flower girl dresses. He has one daughter and I have one and they are both going to be flower girls. I don't see paying 100 dollars and above for a flower girl dress when I feel as if I can get one cheaper. He wants to do David Bridal and does not seem to want to budge. I think it is unfair to expect for my parents to put out any more money than they have too. He said he would buy his daughters dress and I buy my daughters dress. Any suggestion on what I can do to get him to change his mind and look elsewhere??? Do you think I am being unresonable??? Please be honest...

I must be honest, I am really planning on attending the funeral, but I do plan on taking the time off from work. The funeral is out-of-state, and my car probably won't make the eight hour trip, but I really could use the time off. I really need one of these slips to take back to work with me. No need to judge, I know it's bad, but I still need a break from work, so please help if you can.

... because your spouse has a negative attitude about sex (they think sex is a chore or yucky or you don't know what their problem is), or they have a low low sex drive (they might not have one at all). Do you find that nobody understands how crushing this is to your concept of loving sex? You know the special sex with the person you love? Are you even embarrassed that this is happening to you? Perhaps, you are sick of people telling you it is your fault, you're doing something wrong that is causing the problem?

My fiance and I have been together for 2 years now. Recently I have begun to get quite annoyed with a few things. We both have full time jobs and split the costs of everything right down the middle. Somehow it has come to be that I take care of almost everything in our 'household'; paying all of our bills(he pays me back for 1/2 at the end of the month) on time, cleaning the house, cooking, grocery shopping, doing our taxes, cleaning our cars, etc. My guy is a fabulous man and always thanks me for what I do, but sometimes I feel like that is not enough. I feel stupid saying this, but I wish he would be more thoughtful and surprise me with little things. I am always buying him little surprise gifts and cards to show him that I love him. He has never given me flowers or cards or anything. I am a little emotional right now and I know that I am just being a girly girl here, but what do you think?

I am 30 years old and still get scolded, lectured, etc. I would like to have an adult mother/daughter relationship with her but she won't let go of this need to talk to/at me as if I'm a child. She tells me what I need to do with my money, my career, etc. I'm a succesful professional and live in a nice home that I own. A few months ago she explained to me what a yeast infection was. When I let her know that I was already aware of them and had been for some time she patronizingly said "well i guess you're all grown up now". I fight the urge to scream at her because I don't want to act like an angry teenager (I'm sure she would love that.) We spend time together a few times a week, and each time we are together she complains that we never do anything together. I just don't know what to do anymore. (I know I'm not the only one with this problem; and there is probably no solution, but I wouldn't mind some words of advice).

Do you find that the vast majority of people you speak to don't actually listen to what you're saying? They pick up bits of what you've said, but don't appear to have taken much of it in. I have noticed this recently because I'm lucky enough to have a boyfriend who does listen and talking to him makes an interesting comparison to talking to a lot of other people. Do you fine people out there think this is true? And if so, why is it so?

I am a 34 year old woman, independant, career oriented, divorced for 5 years with an 11 year old. I enjoy my life....but have always been a hopless romantic. Long story short....we talked, I met him and knew he was the "one" and I have been there done that, so I am not unrealistic.....Funny thing, he feels the same. Its a dream come true. Truley something I was invisioning especially since watching the "SECRET" the new craze!!! I started to change my way of thinking and met the man of my dreams!!!!!!! I am terrified and I am scared of pushing him away because I just can't believe it!!!! Its not lust, or anything like that. We have yet to be intimate like that. Has this ever happened to anyone, I know in the movies but OMG this is amazing.I wish this on people who want it. And go and watch the "secret" it could not hurt....lol

I've been with my boyfriend Matt for about four years [since my sophmore year in HS]. I thought we were truly meant to be. He was sweet, kind, caring...and my mom loved him! We had so much in common, too. We liked Al Pacino movies, spicey mexican food, greasy pizza, and Dane Cook. However, Matt was a heavy partier and I wasn't. Maybe three fridays out of the month, he and his friends would throw a crazy House party with lots of beer, girls, and insanity. Matt was one to get totally drunk, but he always kept it together and never even so much as looked at another girl. But, two weeks ago at this one particular party, Matt certainly noticed another girl while completely intoxicated. Matt ended up hooking up with this girl and spent the night at his friend's house. The next day, he came home and told me what happened. He swore up and down that he had no control over his actions and that it was a mistake.

My pride tells me to get rid of him. But, I've been with him for years! Keep him?
