My husband, whos 24, left me and his new born for a 17 yrd olf girl from his work. my question is is how long do you think that relationship will last? what are most 17 yr old girls after? what could they have in common..it's not like she can go to a bar or club! Hell she is still in high school!
By all means I AM NOT TAKING HIM BACK, i just want to know how soon he will be showing back up on my doorstep so i can slam the door in his face.

My hasband did the exact same thing to me right after our son was born, but his was with an 18 year old fo worker he started seeeing while I was preagnant. I was 25 at the time. It didn't take long for him to show up on my doorstep begging me back as soon as he started paying child support. It is amaising how quickly they see the error or their ways when they loose their child, house and still have to pay for it. I loved "slamming the door in his face." Good luck to you. I am glad you are not taking him back! It won't take long!

Revenge is sweet and the revenge you want is sweet and harmless. Harmless meaning you are atleast not plotting his death. This is good. However, their relationship as you already know will not last forever or for long. Even when that ends he may not end up back at your door asking to come back. Don't feel like you got jipped. You revenge is still there in the fact that it didn't work out. I am sorry for you in that you just had a baby and now you are basically a single mom. Good for you in not taking him back. Concentrate on your baby and being mentally healthy. Be thankful that you found out who he really was as a person before you wasted too much of your time on him. Someone will come along that will treat you better than he ever did and you will wonder why you were ever with him.

You are filled with anger and a desire for revenge. These feelings are doing you no good whatsoever, and you would do well to let them go. Think instead of the lessons this relationship has taught you so that you do not repeat your mistakes in the future. There is a kind of man who will leave you for a younger woman -- do you now know how to avoid such men?

So sorry for your tough situation? did yousay you have a newborn baby? Well now it's no longer about you but about the baby so get in touch with a lawyer and take the steps you need to take to create the best situation out of this for your child. That child needs to have a relationship with the father and the father also needs to pay child support. Lots of things you need to work out, get on it right away.

The dew stays on the rose only a short while before it drips away. Give it 6 months. He will come crawling back... begging and snifling . He'll be so, so sorry and will have so many new promises. I hope you stick to your guns when he starts all that babble.

Well it just depends, honestly it could last a long time. But somewhere along the line she is gonna realize he cheated on his wife to be with her and she is gonna get all jealous and the relationship will be bad cuz she can't trust him and will be waiting for him to cheat on her.
FYI depending on what state you live in this is statutory rape, so he better be careful!!

Well, looks like he likes teenagers, she probably is very easy & gullable. As long as she is putting out, or gets pregnant you probably will not see him unless to see the baby. Agree to meet him at a public place, not a pubic place. If you take him back, it will happen again.

It won't last through the summer. Glad to hear you won't be taking him back. What a creep to leave you and his baby.
