My parents split up when I was 10 on bad circumstances. I stayed with my mum for years (I now live with my fiance). My dad and I have had an awkward relationship but recently was fone. However, we had a row just before Xmas over his partner and her kids (I'm not a jealous kid - my mum has remarried), and haven't spoken since. I've tried to get in touch and had no response, he's totally changed since he met this woman and obviously she has some kind of hold over him. We were all getting along really well so this is a bit unexpected. He emailed me at work the other day to tell me that my cat had been killed (he wouldn't let me have her back), and thats the last I've heard. I really don't like him as a person but at the end of the day he's my father - should I invite him? And he's impossible to talk to - trust me, I've tried!

My BF got another phone added to his calling plan a couple of weeks ago. He said it was for his new business that he was trying to start up, however he refused to give me the number. I felt a little insecure about it & felt like he was trying to hide something from me. A friend of mine works for Verizonwireless & I found out what his new number is. He is suspecting that I know his new phone number. He sent me a text last night saying that he wanted to see if I would lie about it or not. I haven't responded yet because I wanted to talk to him face to face about it. I just want him to understand how I don't feel comfortable when he keeps things from me & I told him that before. I know it was wrong 4 me 2 go behind his back, but do you think it's possible for him to offer me some understanding about it? I mean y would he want to keep something like that from me anyway. I also don't want to rat out my friend that gave me the number so I know he's going 2 think I went thru his phone

I STILL can't accept my biological family as my family because we were taken away into foster care as infants. & even though my foster family abused me as well as my birth family, the foster family is the only people I can comfortably look at as family. The foster mom is what I'm used to as being my mother. & my birth mom is schizophrenic & strange with many personalities & voices, & it's scary. I feel like WHY DO I HAVE TO BE CURSED WITH A MOTHER & A LIFE LIKE THIS? What would my life be like if my birth mother had a normal brain? I know her illnesses aren't her fault, just like my OCD, Tourette's Syndrome, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, & Major Depressive Disorder isn't MY fault. But my disorder is my birth mom's fault because she used drugs & crack being pregnant with me & my twin sister.

I've been daiting this guy that I've met on yahoo answers for about a month and a half now. I've never met him, I gave him my cell number, and we talk on the phone. But how can you tell if someone is a stalker just by hearing there voice? And how do you do a backround check on them without getting the cops involved and not knowing there last name?

i wondered do they sign a petiton under oath or doesnt it matter these days. can they think of anything even though she left a family home it is me who will end up paying and i am to old to get a mortgage.they are both out of work .he was bankrupt,so it seems they are pushing me for a divorce so i will have to sell our house to pay her off.they are moving to spain on the 27th march to rent a place .she text me saying she was going because our son &daughter who both are still at home want nothing to do with her.we have not seen or spoke to her since she left ,not even to try and sort things out.so because of her deceit ,lies and betrayal from two people i thought icould trust iam the one who has got to pick up all the pieces and get our lives together and pay because she packed in her job and moved away to live with him and claiming legal aid.so why should i we suffer when it was them who have torn our lives apart.there should be a law against what they have done for thier betrayal.

I was reading a web page about polyandry (One wife, multiple
husbands) and i was wondering what people think of this
concept. I think this is a wonderful concept and a great improvement on what one thinks of polygamy in general. One husband with multiple wives is degrading to the Women. But when Women have a harem of their own, it is a sign that we have advanced as a society.

Here is what I heard from a couple that we know:

Kids are out of the house.

Alcohol is hard on the body and hangovers are not fun in your 40's, 50's & 60's. Pot, no hangovers.

Also, one of the judges in the Anna Nicole trial was busted for smoking a joint in a park in Broward County, FL. He looks late 50's to maybe 60. Willie Nelson 74 years old and still smokes pot, does not drink alcohol. Robert Plant in his 60's, still smokes pot, said he does not drink alcohol.

It seems like pot is making a comeback with the older folks because our friends in their early 50's that smoke had quit for 25 years. Now they say they enjoy pot more because just one joint on the weekend gives them all they need to unwind with.

So, are any of you thinking about burning again? I know I am because alcohol is too hard on this 46 year old's body.

My boyfriend has cheated on me twice and is sorry and wants us to work through things. He knows that because of his behaviour that he's given up any 'rights' to tell me he needs space/time. Either he wants to be with me and work at it or we call it a day. But I don't understand how to 'dictate' what I want from the relationship and how he should be - isn't this something we should decide together rather than me telling him what to do, regardless of whether he was the one that made the mistake?

How can I lead us through this and regain trust in him?
I was thinking of suggesting a weekend away together and spending more time together as I don't think time apart will help this situation?

Confused!

I am all for it. Since most men are "finished" after one orga$m (if they are allowed) and most women are readily capable of multiple orga$ms, then it is only right that she have as many lovers as she wants. And since no one man would provide the mental stimulation in as many categories as she might find satisfying, she deserves to be able to tap the offerings of many men.

It should only work one way of course. Beware my whip should he ever wonder for anymore than I am willing to give.

I've been dating my boyfriend for about 7 months. We're both law students (he's from MN, I'm from VA). About a month ago, he told me he might still have feelings for his ex (they dated for 3 years, and he lived with her). Last week, we had spring break, and he went home to MN. He said he didn't see his ex at all while he was home. Ever since I picked him up from the airport on Sunday, he's been all over me! He's told me he loves me more in the past couple days than he has all semester. He also keeps telling me how lucky he is to have me and how beautiful he thinks I am. He also apologized for ever thinking he still had feelings for his ex. Now, most normal girls would be happy about this, and I am, for the most part. However, part of me is wondering why he's suddenly so affectionate. Any ideas?

When I am with him it seems like everything bad just fades away. Lately he has been wanting to talk about any problems we have and fix them. This is new for him because before he just avoided it. Why would a guy change like that? We have been seeing each other for the past 8 months but there were breaks in between because we just did not understand each other. Now it is better.

She wants me to copy her some CDs, but she calls me all the time, talks a hole in my head, & never lets me say a word, & when I tell her I have to go because I gotta do something, she gets offended & hangs up in my face without saying BYE. & she always tries to pick arguments with me to try to test to see if I will stoop to her level.

She really PISSED me off, & she's a 2-faced back-stabbing wench. Should I record CD's for her or no? & she abandoned me & my twin sister @ birth & abused & neglected us & caused us a lot of brain damage. She was also on drugs when she was pregnant with us. She runs around town, saying that she's smarter than ALL of her kids. She has MANY of us & couldn't take care of any one of us. She started having babies as a teen & became a grandmother @ age 29. What example has she set?

I'm 23 with a college degree & no kids.

Suppose you cheated on your bf b/c you were having problems in your relationship. He finds out and has a fit with the other guy.You stop talking to the guy and stayed with your bf, but after 4 months you cross path with the other guy at work. You both are happy to see oneanother .Some how, your bf suspects that you are seeing this guy b/c you tell your bf that you want to break up( obviously you aren't breaking up b/c of the other guy). So, he contacts this guy again to apologize for cursing him 4 months ago and tells him I know why you are interested in my gf(she's beautifull, smart ect.) The problem is, when I recently crossed path with the guy, he did not mention him being interested! So, I feel like a fool b/c im thinking maybe he thinks I told my bf he was after me and that he's inetersted again. What should I do?
