Had my first child at 17. Spent until I was 40 with kids at home. Ended up dealing with ( and loving ) being a single mom after age 30 until 40. ( 2000 )
I met my husband that year and married in 2003.. but for all this time I have been too busy to ever find a female friend except old friends from high school who are 200 miles away. So, now I have some time and no kids at home. Hubby has his friends and hobbies. I'd like to know the best way to meet some female friends. Is it too late?
Oh, and I'm sure someone will want to mention church. I appreciate the thought but I have no use for any of that. I'd be lying if I went and pretended to believe any of it.

ok heres the deal, i met this girl (missy) then she in troduced me to her friend (rea) and i relly didnt talk to missy after that, now i talk to them both alot but during this 1 month of waiting rea had another BF so i waited and waited and waited, then they broke up. at the next dance this other kid (mitch) asked her out; rea said "idk" but mitch wouldnt shutup he kept askin every 10mins or soi just watched then i finally told her to just go out with him so now they are, now im dating a different girls (kira) wich is reas bff is that wrong of me to do? did i miss my chance?

My ex fiance broke up with me about a month ago. She refused to talk to me and it took me going to her and apologizing for pretty much nothing to get her to talk to me again. Then about a week ago I went to go see her. I walked in and handed her a note that asked her if we could talk about everything going on and asking if we could get back together. Well I walked in and handed it to her asked her to read it and think about it. She said ok and stuck it in her back pocket. Then as I was getting ready to walk out she asked me how I was, I said good how about you? She said good and put a smile on her face but when she realised that I was leaving that smile vanished and was replaced with a ya whatever look. What am I supposed to make of this? If she's interested in getting back with me how come she hasn't replied to that note I gave her? What should I make of this situation?

I'm wandering. Is there anyone trust worthy, dependable, and who likes kids on here, and who are good with kids? Are there anyone like that on here. Because I need help with my brother. He's only 10 years old, but he needs all the help he can get. During the last 2 weeks I just don't enjoy my husband much. Everything he does is getting on my nerves, he is acting very immature and annoying. My sister is tending to my Mom's financial affairs with social security and all because the SSA says that Mom is not able to handle her own money. We are now wondering if she can handle her personal life either. She has let our dope head youngest sister move in with her into her 1 bedroom apt. Mom sleeps on the couch so sister and boyfriend can have her room. These 2 losers have stolen from Mom before and now my sister found out that they took Mom's debit card to 3 ATM's last week and now have her overdrawn. I think my sister needs this power of attorney so she can step in and get these 2 losers out of moms house and maybe prosecute them. The account is in my sisters name for mom. The SSA says she is not mentally able to handle money so how do we get the power of attorney for this? Thanks

my husband ani were married 25 years, he became terminally ill,in 2005, i took care of him for 22 months until he passed away at home in 2006, its been 15 months, he was only 54 years old, i thought i was doing ok, when wham, it comes at me full forse, i miss him so much, i loved him so much,i would do anything for one more day.. some times i think this oain will never stop,it hurts so bad, it really is like your heart is broken,i went to counciling before his death, to prepare me ,but you cannot prepare no matter how hard you try.if anyone is, or has gone through the same thing maybe you can tell me how to move on,,sincerly mary

I have started to attend church groups since last month. I have had small talks with a 25 yo ladee I met at one group. I've talked to her a few times - there were times where I had to cut off the conversation because it was getting late.

she asked for my email and number last week which I politely gave her. she was going to send me more information on the group which she did. why does she need my number for that?

this is a long story but the jest of it is that i've been in love with a guy for 3 years (his in USA and i'm in UK) meet through family....... we have had a rollarcoaster of a relationship where he thinks this is not going to happen and breaks it off and then a month or two later gets back with me saying that he now realises that it me thathe does want.

this has now happen 4 times, and this time i just don't know what todo- i can't seem to like anyone else forget have a relationship with them......
