I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I am the oldest and was an only child for 8 years. It sucked.

There are 4 boys and 3 girls in my family. I wouldn't have traded it for the world. Growing up in a large family was difficult at times but i have the best memories!! I have a daughter now and she's the only one that i have or ever will have now. I feel sorry for her sometimes not having the companionship and closeness of other siblings. She doesn't have anybody to really talk to. We have a gr8 relationship but I know there are somethings kids don't tell parents about,. I had 6 others to choose from that were always around and available. She didn't have someone readily available to play with like I did either. I'd take brothers and sisters anytime.

I have 7 brothers and 7 sisters, I am the youngest of the 15. I wouldn't want to be an only child. There is about an average of us each being 11 months apart so we are all close in age. I was born having 14 best friends and it is great. We learned to share and take care of one another. The oldest is now 60 and I am 40. My parents had all single births and they were married 56 years til Dad passed. My mother is 82 and 5' tall and weighs 96 pds. They are angels and having them and lots of brothers and sisters taught us not to be selfish and to be respectful and thankful for all you have in life.

I have lots of brothers and sisters. I cannot imagine being an only child! Being part of a large family teaches you how to share, gives you support when you need it, are always there for you when friends have long gone, and so much more!

I have 2 younger brothers and I would not have any less. Actually I wish I had a sister too closer to my age. When you have more than one they always have someone to hang out with. There was such a space between my brothers and I that on vacations and stuff they had each other to do rides and stuff with but I was always the odd one out. So if try and have them a Little close together as well.

I have one older brother and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I know others who have multiple siblings and yes things get hard at times but they are always there for one another. If you are a mom trying to determine whether to have a second child just ask yourself if you would be able to divide your attention about equally between the children. that is the main thing that some siblings fight. If you are a kid just asking questions, siblilngs are great after some time but whie growing up it can be really hard.

I was not an only child...but felt like one. I had two brothers...6 years older & 12 years older. I think that it is better to have siblings closer in age. I hated growing up feeling like an only child. There was no one to talk to/play with...it was a very boring childhood to experience.
