hmm.
me and my ex boyfriend broke up at the end of summer last year cuz he was going to military school in pennsylvania. he's calling me almost every night now and talking for like an hour.
i miss him a LOT.
but it seems like he gives me mixed messages.
cuz sometimes he acts like he likes me, and sometimes it acts like he doesn't even want to talk to me.
he is visiting in about two weeks... he told me he would hang out with me.
what should we do when we hang out?
its gonna be really awkward... but i miss him so much.
should i go on extra diet and exercise and go tanning so i look good?
what would the best thing for me to do to make him be like "damn! i miss her... i want her back in my life..."
i miss him so much.
i just want him to want me back.
and idk what i should do to achieve that...

A former male friend of mine at work is avoiding me. We were close friends b4, but we had joked about hooking up until I got upset with him since I ended up wanting to and felt like he was disrespecting me. I ended up calling him a dog since he has a gf overseas and was talking to me about doing it. Anyway I ended up writing a letter to him apologizing to him and he told me I was too weird to be his friend since I gave him mixed signals. He emailed me telling me I needed therapy and that I should get a bf and some friends. When he emailed me this, I was hurt and had been ignoring him for a month, but I could tell he would look at me and try to make me jealous by talking to other girls. I think he realized he had hurt my feelings since I could tell he looked guilty sometimes. I went up to him and said hi and he said hi. He looked at me like he wanted to talk. We have been just saying hi as we run into each other, though he still avoids me.

Generally, when I meet girls from the internet (or blind dates from friends) I usually tell them to wear a bright orange shirt so I can easily find them in a crowded place. Then, my buddies and I hop in my car, and drive by slowly were I told the girl to meet. If shes fine, I go on the date, if not? We laugh our $$es off. :) Is this generally OK and acceptable? My dad is getting married for the 3rd time to a woman that he just met 2 months ago. This is her 3rd marriage also. Obviously, I don't know her well, but I have been to her house, and she is a complete pack rat! There are atleast 20 picture frames on each flat surface and her kitchen has items stored on the counters, so anything for the house is definately not an option. My dad could use some new clothes, but she has an overabundance. I don't think it would be very nice to just buy something for him (even though that's really what I want to do). The wedding is in a few months, so I do still have some time. What should I get them?

Is he being unfair to me? We are both 37, would be second marriage for both. I have a son he has no children. We have known eachother since we were 5 and we are best friends. But, I want to get married and he just keeps telling me he is scared. I do not want any more children, neither does he so it is not like me biological clock is ticking but I just love him and I do not want to grow old alone. I will not "shackup" either so that is not an answer either.

I had been seeing a girl for a couple of months. We would go out and have fun and enjoy each others company. It never got very physical because I was not all that attratcted to her. Rather then lead her on I told her that my feeling were just not there and I did not see the relationship going anywhere. This shocked her and hurt her but she said shes ok. Shes a great friend and we do have fun together but now Im wondering if by doing that did I ruin a friendship? Should I have said something or just hoped it fisseled out on its own?

I've a problem. I feel something for this person and it does really look it's reciprocal. We do have strong feeling for each other and you can really tell only by the way we look at each other. Last weekend we went clubbing and in the way home we got really close kissing but there's always something stopping us. We kind of wanna go further but at the same time escape from the idea of taking the first step. Should I just wait or do something to induce this person taking the first step?I personally don't want to take it since I'm afraid I'm forcing something we both don't know exactly what it is.
I don't know who is more caught up in this ambiguous relation but I'm at that phase I can't stop thinking about it. We both are aware (since we had been friends for a year) that this thing if will take place cannot be revealed. Way too many complications. Do u have any suggestion?
