Mom, Dad ... I have a boyfriend....
stop playing games and get it out in the open..
BAD IDEA... From the 1st person, do not get the guy involved that early.... If i had a daughter and she brough some random guy over to dinner and then broke it that way, there would be alot of problems.... If you do it between the 3 of you its alot better.... Later they can meet the guy....

Depends on how old you are, and what culture you are in. If you were from my culture, at least you will have to let an older sister/brother person tell your parents WHILE you are present, too. Also, since you sounded unsure on how to go about it, I suspect you are somewhat youngish , and also this is your first boyfriend? If so, first ask the parent whom you are closer to, about how HE/SHE met his/her first bf/gf and then tell them ever so gently about how YOU met this boyfriend of yours. Good luck :)

Break it to them gently. Buy them a gift certificate for a nice dinner. When they come home, be sure to be going at it on the living room floor.

If you are afraid to tell them you have a boyfriend, your too young to date.

Ask your parents if so and so can come over for dinner. When they ask who he is, just tell them.
