Generally, when I meet girls from the internet (or blind dates from friends) I usually tell them to wear a bright orange shirt so I can easily find them in a crowded place. Then, my buddies and I hop in my car, and drive by slowly were I told the girl to meet. If shes fine, I go on the date, if not? We laugh our $$es off. :) Is this generally OK and acceptable? Guys AND girls and respond to this.

What goes around comes around. Someday you will get stood up waiting on a blind date. As you are waiting and feeling uncomfortable, you might just notice a car load of hot girls driving by, pointing and laughing.

I have tried some internet dating and blind dates. While some were wax museum hideous, I met them, had a drink and politely excused myself after wards. Not saying that I didn't make fun of them back with my buddies, but I was not cruel enough to make them show up and wait around like an unwanted child.

I guess it's acceptable as long as she never finds out you were laughing at her. I hope you contact them later and make up some kind of excuse for not coming. If you're not careful, you will get a bad reputation for this and won't have any friends who will set you up on a blind date. Also remember, you reap what you sow and what goes around comes around. You may be next!!

NO!!!! you have the common courtesey to set it up then you take the chances of meeting someone you don't quite expect.. if you don't like the other person, then atleast tell them you had a good time but don't think there will be another date, but don't drive by and check the person out first!
use your head!

Just someone else asked if guys are attracted by physical features or by personality. I think this story answers that question: It's always the physical features!
If it's acceptable? ( Would that matter? )
No, it's not acceptable! I think if you ask the girl to meet you, you should be a gentleman and introduce yourself to her.

OH Please don't do that, that will make the girls disappointed. you must meet that girl whatever she look like. if you don't like the girl, just say "hello" to her and make a good friends. Remember "don't judge a girls by it's look but by it's heart"

No, it isn't. You should have, at the very least, the courtesy to say hello and have a drink with her before you say anything, one way or another.

Well in my opinion...you sound like a jerk. If you asked her out you should go out with her. If you aren't interested after that then just don't go out anymore. It's jerks like you that gives girls like me the large amount of mistrust that we have. Thanks.
