My step-son is divorced for 4 yrs. and has had several girlfriends. He has never introduced his father or me to any of them. He became engaged in December and although we have encouraged him to bring his fiance to family get-togethers, he refuses to bring her. She has learned of this family affairs and questions him why she can't come. I think he has a problem with committment and is in a situation he needs to get out of but doesn't know how. What is your make on this situation? Do you think he needs a reason to brake up with her? And we know she is a "gold-digger" so doesn't want to loose her "sugar Daddy". I know!!! Calling Dr. Phil is my next resort, lol.

There is no mortgage on their home. A mortgage would help for about 10-12 months if at 80% equity. I hate to send them to a nursing home, but that seems to be the only way our medicaid system works when the elderly are out of money. Any ideas????

My boyfriend and i have been together for 4 years now. We are going to get married some day but not now, because we're waiting for him to finish college. My parents wont agree with it but his parents are incouraging us to. I grew up in a christian home and he didnt, but we go to church together now. I wont to move out on my on but cant afford it. I'm a conservative overweight bride-to-be. Both my fiance and I think that the ceremony is very holy and that I should be dressed accordingly. I am looking for a dress design, especially a neckline design, that would suit me. I want something that would cover my upper arms and not show too much cleavage and back. I have been emotional, cranky, depressed, and sad lately. On top of it all, I have been incredibly insecure. I am chasing my boyfriend away. He is upset with me and I keep messing up. I say the wrong things, think the wrong things and he has done nothing to deserve this. He is wonderful. Every thing I have ever dreamed of. All my past relationships have been incredibly abusive. She did him wrong (doesn't know if her son is his, cheating), isn't a good influence (she's a stripper and now the daughter is picking up on her moves) and is ungreatful (couldn't even say thank you for Easter baskets and $$ from me). They have been over for about 6 years and needless to say I could care less about the piece of trash yet he still chooses to see the good in her. Now we live two states away from her but we continue to argue over things like him not wanting to take her to court for visitation rights, him being unsure of moving on and having a family with someone else after being hurt, him wanting to have her, her new boyfriend and THEIR new baby to stay over our house just so that he can see his kids. Also it has been about 3 years since he has seen his kids due to the military and since we are two states away she will not allow the children to come to us and it is financially hard for us to just leave and go over there. Am I overreacting or am I blind to something?

Hello! My name is Jackie and I'm 18. I'm a senior in high school and i had posted this earlier on my sister's yahoo answer's name. I really needed help with something! I realized after i wrote it that they way i had written it was a bit immature so i will start over again. I apologize for the length of this.

I am graduating this year and i feel like this is the year i have found my "best friends" Lets call these friends Person #1 Person #2 Person # 3 and Person # 4." true colors. Sadly enough there colors are black and not a pretty color like orange or green. I am looking for advice as to what i should do in this situation. What has happened to people waiting...I liked this guy -an enigma whether he was shy or a TRUE player-and well he's insisted on me going home with him on our 2nd date (not counting the first time we meet at a club). I'm not usually a jealous person but for some reason i am really stressing about this. I'm not even sure there will be strippers involved but because i am feeling fat and ugly and my partner doesn't seem to be showing me much attention anymore i just feel really uncomfortable about him going. I'm going to a lawyer to discuss divorcing my cheating husband who's denying he is. I think it's one of his coworkers in the military. He's sending me & our son to live w/my parents to "save money", etc. We live in an apartment & our lease wasn't going to be up until May. When he first told me his idea for us to move I asked how b/c the lease. He said he could get fake military orders to be stationed somewhere else & has to go. He said people try it all the time but the people never follow thru. But he smiled & said he's got the hookup, the better hookup. I went to the office of our apartment & got a copy of the orders. Now I have a copy of fake military orders saying he's going to another state & it's signed by him & someone else(pretty sure a girl's kind of handwriting-initals & last name are typed also) I want to expose him for what he's done to us..obviously cheating & lying. I wonder if the girl is the mistress. Can the fake orders get him in trouble w/the military?
