I'm a conservative overweight bride-to-be. Both my fiance and I think that the ceremony is very holy and that I should be dressed accordingly. I am looking for a dress design, especially a neckline design, that would suit me. I want something that would cover my upper arms and not show too much cleavage and back. At the same time, I want it to be romantic and modern. I have big upper arms and big breasts. My bottom is huge and I have big hips. Thank you for your help. You'll just make my special day even more special.

totallymodest.com has some beautiful modern dresses. You could also consider having one made for you. I have a friend that is heavy plus was 7 mos pregnant and she has her dress made and it was just beautiful!!!!

Look at the David's Bridal "Woman" line to get you started. Find a dress you like and go to either David's Bridal if it's in your city, order online and have tailored at home, or take a pic of what you like into a Bridal Salon.

Remember, sleeveless or not, you can wear a shawl or a bolero (also called a cap- it is like an add on with sleeves that just covers your shoulders and arms). The best way to battle your size issue is to keep the lines classic and modern. Lace or intricate beading can shed light on those pounds- find a heavy satin gown. My suggestion is this particular cut (and you can customize the ribbon to match bridesmaids!!!): http://davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=2642&prodgroup=159

Always stand out by keeping your bridesmaids in simply cut dresses- keep the cuts consistent (strapless, A-line is best).

GOOD LUCK, HON!
