No they won't hate you. You have the perfect right to decline her invitation. I don't like this whole business of girls asking guys out, anyway. Just say you have other plans, and don't be a jerk. You clearly aren't or you woudn't be asking for direction. The other alternative is just to go on out with her once and hang loose!

Popularity is overrated! You should only go out with a girl if you like her or want to get to know her. Dating shouldn't be something you do to get an in with some other girls. BTW, do you REALLY want to go out with girls who'd diss you for saying "No" to a date with their friend?

why pretend just to please some else? that doesn't mean that she's popular evry guy he would ask to go out to would say yes. It's time to prove her wrong, and the heck with other girls. I bet they wont hate you, they would even admire you coz you know how to stand on your belief and wants.

If you don't like her, then turn her down. How's it going to benefit you if you start dating her and you find yourself wasring money on a girl who you have no feelings for? It's a disaster waiting to happen. And who cares what other girls think. It's not their life that's going to be affected.
