For example... two weeks ago he decided to give away my cats. He is NOT allergic, he just doesn't like them. So he posted an ad on craigslist and they were gone that day. I had one cat for 9 months she gave birth in September and I kept one of her kittens. So I had a real connection to the kitten. I am really sad. What should I do?

My daughter is 37 and won't speak to me. I told her best friend something that I thought was known by all, but I was wrong. I apologized but she refuses to acknowledge me at all. We haven't spoken in 6 months. I want to talk to her but she turns her head when she sees me. I don't want to cause a scene so I just go on. It is so painful for me. I am 54 and have two other daughters that she is snubbing also. What should I do?

On our honeymoon 3yrs ago on a cruise ship as we approached our cabin my husband opened the door walked in first and let the door slam in my face almost breaking my nose, thankfully i had my foot resting on it to break the majority of the slam. as i entered the room, i had to bring to his attn what had happened. he replied "im sorry i didnt do it on purpose", this man is not the same as i am used to in other men. I have had to "teach" him how to treat a lady, ie:opening car doors, walking on the outside of traffic, basically the treating a lady like a lady. now he does not understand why this bothers me, he thinks cuz its in the past i should be over it.

I am getting married in June, and i graduate high school in may. is it ok that i am having a lot of showers? I have one with my mother's family, one at my church, one with my mother in law's family and neighbors, and one with my school friends. For my bacholeorette party, i wanted a lingerie shower-since we are all just barely 18, and we cant drink or nothing that typically goes on at a bacholerette party, but my moh said today she wants to give me a bridal shower one day, and that night do the bacholerette thing. but i feel sort of greedy with so many showers, but there isnt really anyone invited to all of them...(should i invite my future mother in law to all of them?)

I met this girl in one of my classes. We became friends and she would always squeeze my arm(she said she did it because it turn lighter). We both left for summer break and when we came back she was really friendly and always come up to me and hug me. My buddy who was with me said, Dude you gonna ask her out or what she is like all about you?! I didnt notice because I was just havin a relaxin time. But when she came back. I took my friends advice. My ex-girlfriend wants to be best friends with me. I try to go along but its too painful. I can not relax when I'm around her, I'm constantly thinking that we could be together now If I hadn't screwed up. The strange thing is that last year the roles were reversed, she begged me to marry her and I said I wasn't ready, (which is why it ended). Yet even though I 'rejected' her she still enjoyed spending time with me as a friend. Are women better at being 'just friends' with someone they can not have ?

I'm a junior in high school, straight a student, both popular or unpopular chums, pretty by everyone elses standards. Bottom line, boys never approach me first. Except for the wrong ones. Not to be mean, but only the nerdy ones like me. My mum says it my posture, but i stand up straight, its just awkward. i guess I'm pretty, and I'm nice to the boys who aren't quite what i was looking for, because i want to treat them as i would like to be. But how to get the cute boys to like me? i know this is a dumb question, I'm just a little stuck. A couple of months ago, I noticed that I had completely vanished from my boyfriend's top 8 on MySpace (I know, I know, MySpace isn't the real world!), so I asked him why. He didn't give me a reason, but apologized and put me back in the "girlfriend" spot right away. I was still uneasy since I noticed the same day I disappeared, he added his ex to his friends list and left her a comment (saying "howdy"). A few days later, over dinner, I asked him again why. He said he just wasn't thinking. Later that night, he finally broke down (in tears and everything - I've never seen a guy so scared, upset, and apologetic) and said he did it because he wanted his ex to talk to him again (apparently she gets upset when he has a girlfriend). Today I told him that I tried to post a comment on a video he posted online, and he said he deleted it because it would be obvious who gave the video a high rating. My fear is that he does't want his ex to see my comment (he invited her to see the video too).

My friend is confuzing me

My boyfriend gets depressed when the weather gets bad and we went through a rough time from November to February because of it. ...lots of fights, him just being in a pissy mood, etc. Now that the weather is getting nicer he's all of the sudden really peppy - complimenting me a lot and stuff. It kind of all weirds me out. We've only been together long enough to have gone through one winter so this is the first time I've been through this with him, but he says that anytime he's been dumped it's happened during the winter months.
Am I just being stupid to be weird about the change back to happy/loving guy?
