"My parents will let me go to Africa if I get good grades,"
She said,
"You get everything just cause you are smart, For me it is required"
My friend is confuzing me
But she is just as smart as me!
We both want to go to Africa and then she said,
"Don't ever talk about Kenya untill three years is up.
And if i do go i think i just want to be around my family. NO O though"
I feel very awkward and I don't know what to do.
What should I do?
Is this my fault?
Is she even mad?
Why is this bothering me?
I don't get this!

Its bothering you because she is your friend and shes upset. I know she cant go with but I think she just wants to hang out with you. It seems you guys are pretty tight friends and trips shouldnt come in between a friendship like that. I would just talk to her about it. Maybe she didnt understand at first because all she thought about was you leaving her for awhile.

She's clearly just jealous. It sounds as though you're going to have the opportunity to go to Africa before her.
