i like this girl and iv been talking to her for a few months now. i have one problem, she doesn't talk much. i keep the ball rolling on conversations but she almost always answers with one word answers and almost never elaborates. i even talk about the stuff she likes too. funny how she said that she doesnt like having awkward silent moments on the phone, so ironic when shes causing it. so is it just me and my converstion skills or is it her? how can i get her to talk to me more? almost everyone would open up by now, but its so strange how she doesnt. is it possible that she likes me and doesnt know what to say?

with out having to never talk to them again? Everything I do they are always right there messing with me, very manipulative people. Should I just give up on them? I dont want to go into details but they are driving me crazy! And my therapist agree's with me. I just want your opinions, I know the decision of what to do is mine. BTW I am in my twenties.

I met this guy in 6mos ago,but shortly after I met him I found out he was married/separated so he says...I also was on disability from work due to a workers comp injury and not recieving any money because my claim was not yet approved so this guy is helping me out financially so me and my daughter dont get evicted, would you continue this relationship or no?

I am not done parenting yet.all the children are raised. we have grandchildren but they don't live here.I want to be foster parents but he thinks it will tie us down. we never do anything that we couldnt take children to.Am I just being selfish? My husband is wonderful. I will take your answers to heart. Iwas a foster parent before I met him . I am home all day now and he is a police officer. My boyfriend and i have been going out for over 3 years. Almost all the time when we're with his family especially his little sister, he plays around with them and everything, which is fine with me. When we are all together, he'll crack jokes, but never talks to me or cut up with me. he always ignores me and never tries to include me. I finally asked him today why he does that and he said b/c he has more fun with his family than with me sometimes. I didn't take it very well. i did get upset over it, and he ended up breaking up with me over b/c i got upset. I didn't even yell at him for it. he just got mad b/c i brought it up. I don't want to call him to talk about it b/c everytime we fight, i have to call him to patch things up, but i'm afraid that he won't call. i still want to be w/ him even though this has happened. this whole fight seems so dumb, but i just feel so unwanted by him sometimes. what should i do? should i call him or not?

I think it's true but what happens when a man leaves his wife for another woman. I'm a christian & I don't believe god will bless a relationship that starts out in adultery. He seems to be making the relationship work. We've been divorced for 5 mths & they have been together for almost a year. She knew I was getting a divorce before I did. So why is it working out for them? I know for a fact he has cheated on her. He gets by w/so much & he gets by in life w/out any recourse. How do good things happen to bad peopole?

I have a cousin who is getting married in the summer and she has chosen to have her 3 cousins and brothers wife (sister-in-law) as honorary bridesmaids. I spoke with her on the phone today and she was talking about all sorts of obligations for the honorary bridesmaids the day before and day of the ceremony, ie. decorating the church and the reception hall. I have been a bridesmaid and an honorary bridesmaid in the past and have never been solely responsbile for decorations, there has always been a give and take and a sharing of responsibilities. The last weddings I was an honorary and Bridesmaid in I helped take down decorations after the ceremony but didn't decorate. I guess my real question is what is a reasonable amount of effort to contribute, what should I do as an Honorary, what is too much for her to ask?

so i went on this date with this guy and i had an Amazing time.. and he was being all kinda "cuddling" in a way the whole time. and just like 20 minutes after the date i get a text saying: i know this sounds lame but i wanted to hold your hand like all night but didn't know if you wanted to move in that direction at all. then we talked more and he said I hope you still feel this way later, thanks for making my night great, i had fun. then the next day he said he slept maybe an hour last night because he had a lot on his mind and couldn't sleep. and i said i'm sorry he said you did not do anything... i am glad we went out, being by you makes me happy. and then we set up our 2nd date and he said he was looking forward to it. and he even talked about a 3rd throughout the week and said i was so cute. so then the day we were supposed to go on our date he says: i don't think it is going to work out, i don't know why but i don't like you like that. i like someone else. So WHAT HAPPENED?!? :s

Ok, so this guy who I have known all my life, we grew up together (I'm 18, he's 21), Ive kind of liked him since, pretty much when he got his braces off when he was 13! Ive never really said anything because we were little and it was weird and boys had cooties! But the cooties have gone away and he's this amazing adorable sweet guy. We've recently started talking again,our families are really close,and I think Ive fallen for him, but I dont know what to do. I dont want to screw it up, I would wait forever for this man if it took that! But I dont want to go forever and he doesnt know how I feel. And I dont really know if he likes me, when I used to go to his house and when I left he'd make me get out of my car and say goodbye to him face to face, and when we still talk he waits for me to say bye before we hang up on the phone or one of us gets off online. We've both dated other people though so that's where Im not sure if he likes me or if he's just the nice family friend. What do I do?

I'm 21..and he's 22. I love him very much. we have been on and off for 3 years. We got engaged twice so far, because he drives me crazy we had to break up i can't count how many times. I have been living on my own for almost 7 years now, on the other hand he just left his parents house last year. The first time we tried moving in together we signed a year lease and we didn't last 3 month. I know i'm not perfect but he's worse. He's still in the "living with the parents" stage. Right now we are back together engaged living almost 1000 miles from his parents but every time we argue he calls his mom and wants her to comfort him. The reason why i'm still with him is because he has gone a long way since i first met him. he'sso much better than before, but he gets in the mood to argue with me and starts telling me to leave if i don't like it. It's minor things that we argue about like turning the light off when he is not using it.etc. i I love him but i'm strong enough to leave if i have to

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost two and a half years now, and except for the first nine months and the summer it's long distance. I love him and he loves me more than the world, but I'm not really *in* love anymore. We talk about getting married and I say yes because sometimes I really do and other times it's just not worth it to "throw him a blow" and tell him I'm unsure. He's a wonderful guy but we differ on politics, religion, finances, where we want to live, etc. and sometimes he's controlling. He gets upset with me for talking to guys and as a result I have no guy friends. Last August I found out he had cheated on me (about four times with the same girl) and I was able to forgive him but it still really hurts to think about it. I'm a sophomore in college so it's getting to the point where I feel like I either need to decide it's for life or give it up and start over. He's my first boyfriend so I really have no experience and kind of want to date other ppl.
