Sometimes you have to choose what is best for her and she might hate you for a while but you have to save her. Its better for her to hate you for a while then to have to feel this pain everyday.

Go to the school nurse, or a teacher you trust. They have to investigate and will get her out of that house. You can do it confidentially, there is no reason for her to know. Help her before it's too late, you would be surprised at how often the time goes by too fast and nothing is done.

Talk to someone. This is not an issue you can deal with on your own. If you don't talk to someone now the situation could get worse or even fatal. Please, for your friend talk to someone, a counselor, a parent, any adult. I know she'll be mad at you for saying something but what's worth more your friendship or your friend's life?

She is afraid to accept help so you have to make the ultimate decision for your friend and find an adult that will help her out of this situation. She knows deep down that this is not healthy but she probley thinks that her situation will get worse.. if she tells anyone. Only you can help her know..good luck!

She needs to turn them in for abuse. If she doesn't, something really, really bad could happen. You should go to a counciler somewhere and see what they suggest. You didn't say anything about age--if you are in school, see the one there for starters, talk to your parents, someone!!!
Good Luck !

Lord, that's sad. Could you speak to a counselor at school about it? If they suspect abuse, they are required by law to check into it and tell the proper authorities.

MY MOM IS THE SAME WAY. I AM A 29 YEAR OLD MOTHER OF MY OWN AND IT DOES HURT WHEN THEY TALK TO YOU LIKE YOUR NOTHING OR LIKE YOU ARE SLOW OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. WHEN THEY CAN EVEN TAKE FROM YOU AND YOUR KIDS AND WOULD LET THEM SUFFER IF KNOW ONE KNEW THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR WHOLE SITUATION. I'VE COME TO REALIZE THAT THE ONLY WAY TO MINIMIZE THE PROBLEM BECAUSE YOU CAN'T JUST GET RID OF THEM IS TO FEED THEM WITH A LONG HANDLED SPOON. DON'T TRY AND GET THEIR ATTENTION OR LET THEM KNOW EVERY LITTLE THING IN YOUR LIFE. THAT IS HOW THEY KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING YOU DO AND THAT ONLY LEADS TO MORE CRITICISM AND MORE DOWNPLAY ON YOUR SELF ESTEEM

You need to go to your parents/guardian and/or a teacher at school. If she is being abused at home, you don't have to wait for you friend to do anything about it.

I wish you the best.

maybe she doesn't like the attention she gets when u talk about it or she doesn't like it when you talk about it because the only place for her to really be able to feel safe is at school.
so i think you just tell her striaght that she has to stop running away from her problems and she has face them and let her know that u'll be always their for her no matter what happens and try to help her out as much as you can.

All I can tell you to do since she wont let you get involved,is pray about it.Prayer works.God may not answer you tomorrow,or within a year, but eventually your friend will be out of her parents control.Pray about it.I prayed about it for you and your friend.Turn to God and let him handle it.No one could do it better.
