I met this guy and I thought he would be a friend with benefits (single adults with careers and kids need that!) and thought he would be abit of a jerk. He turned out to be really sweet so far and I am really mad at myself for liking him.

I have no idea what he thinks of me (as far as sex or relationsihp, but I know he likes me well enough), but I am tempted to just never see him again. I am SO mad that I like him. Geez, I am to old for this crap, and can't get hurt again.

Is this a normal reaction?

My fiance and I love each other very much, but we get into fights all the time as we have very different personalities. I am a lot more emotional and feel that he is too insensitive at times and he feels that I am oversensitive at times. One thing that really bothers me is the way he reacts when I am feeling hurt. Basically, if I say something to hurt him, then he gets very mad and avoids me until I keep on apologizing and expressing my regret for what I said. And any time this happens, I do feel very bad for hurting him and I immediately try to say sorry and make him feel better. However, whenever I feel hurt by him he acts completely differently. If I become upset with him, then he usually turns the tables and gets upset at me for being upset at him. He always tends to make his own decision as to whether or not I should be hurt and then if he thinks I shouldn’t be, then he doesn’t try to make me feel better at all.

5 months ago I met my current boyfriend and we've been moving slowly and surely down the relationship road, slow being the main word here....He has me very confused. First, we broke up 3 months ago because he was downright rude to me with some insensitive things he said to me. We were apart for a little less than a month and then he called and we went out to dinner and had a heart to heart and made up. He told me that he's really cautious, he doesn't date much nor has he had any really long term relationships (he's 40 and I'm the same)....I understand his intimicy issues, I think I have some of the same ones....Since we've been back on, we've gotten to know each other much better and met each other's friends and families, but the thing is that after a great weekend together, when I think that finally we're getting somewhere and my heart opens a little, he pulls right back inside himself and is distant- not calling, not emailing, for a time. I just don't get it. Can you help?

This guy i met a while back has been wanting me to come to his apartment, i already know he wants to have sex with me but i DO NOT want to have sex with him. He's a really great guy, who makes me laugh. I look at him as a FRIEND and nothin more. Or should I save myself now? My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years...(4 years this October)..we have a daughter together who is now 14 months old. We want the best for her. Much of our relationship has been a lot of on and off. I've done really crappy stuff and he's done really crappy stuff. We've also been through a lot of things that constantly bring us closer and closer. Just recently, we have finally gotten ourselves on track (I've been there but now he is too...for the most part). I have taken care of my daughter more than he up until recently and he is a good father...seeing as he didn't really have one around. Marraige has been mentioned in the past but now he wants to start actually saving for it....and be married in approximately 5 years or so. We are only 20 and 21 but we do love each other and we are the only people that know how to put up with each other. I don't want to be in a on-off relationship the rest of my life but I want a family for my daughter!

Sometimes, I feel like I want a girlfriend. But I don't talk to a whole lot of girls. And the girls I do talk to either already have boyfriends or are lesbians. I asked a friend to look for a girlfriend for me at the end of last semester, but he couldn't do it. Either the girls he knew had boyfriends, or they were attracted to him. The reason I don't talk to girls is because I feel like I'm going to make a complete idiot of myself, plus I don't know their interests, so if I start up a conversation about my interests, I'd probably be beyond red in the face due to embarrasment because they don't have the slightest idea what the heck I'm talking about. This is funny.

I know for a fact that my ex cheated on me, but when I called him and told him I knew, he said it was all a lie.

Then after we hung up, he came to my house ten minutes later trying to talk to me about how it is a lie, but i told my dad to tell him to go home.

Why is he lying about this? Our relationship is done and over, and never will I even like him like that again, so who cares if he cheated? I just hate it when people lie.

okay this question is about my family. I am going to try to make a long story short. My dad has always had alot of money. My parents got a divorce.During the divorce i was put in the middle of it. My mom would not let me go live or even go see my dad. My dad made up rumors about my mom. They would throw words to each other that my brother and i susposely said, but they just did that to hurt one another. I remember on school night i would stay at my dad's house with him and my mom fighting untill 2 am and then turn around and had to go to school. So my question is are parents always right? i am n ow 18 years old. I do not have a good relationship with my father or his new family bcuz my mother freaks out. She blows up at me, and i think she takes **** out on me. Her and her new husband or gettting a divorce. She makes me cry every day. I have had enough of it. I am a and b average student.I dropped out and got my GED just to move out. am i wrong? i could not go it anymore.

It has been over 8 months since we broke up, and I have not talked to her in several months. I am not sure when I am in the mood to well........ let's just leave it at that, I sometimes think of the sexual things we have done together. She was my real serious girlfriend and it was my first time having a sexual encounter (we didn't have intercourse but very close). Is this normal?? my boyfriend and i just broke up today and im not sure if it is for the right reasons. we dated for one year and for about 75% of the time things were pretty good. but there were times when he would make me feel horrible (about sex) and swear and call me bad names (stuff im not really used to in a relationship). i had thought about breaking up with him here and there but couldnt becuase i loved him and he is my first everything. but then other people started telling me that i deserved better. and other guys told me that not all guys treat girls like that. did i break up with him becuase i wanted to or becuase other people told me to. im stuggling wondering if have made the right choice. my boyfriend is very upset and says he loves me more than anything. did i do the right thing?

i met guy for 3 times already. i think he likes me. he invited me for coffee and movies sometimes.
last time, i called him to invite him a coffee, he let me know he just arrived from business trip and got many things to do thus he couldnt join the date. he proposed next weekend and he would confirm it later.
what should i do:
if he wont contact me again, i would move on. OR ..... ???
besides, during the week, he didnt call me or send text messages for asking me "how are u". why is that? Is he serious?
